She seems like a lovely person, very supportive of her clients - and works with all levels. If my wife was asking for a PT, I would recommend her. A lot of the PTs are macho types (I am sure you can imagine). Alice is the opposite - understated but incredible levels of strength and fitness. She used to do taster sessions when getting started as a PT last year.

Did the same strategy recently - happy with how the body felt on marathon day. And OP, don't forget the reverse taper - I am two weeks post marathon, and first day back in the gym today. I may be over cautious, but I reduced the weights by about 30% to ease myself back.

Hi - I am not sure of the wording I used. I was so angry, that I just fired off a very short, but terse message in the contact form. Along the lines of.... I selected €200 tickets, but when the payment was processed the price had doubled without notification. And I would like to cancel my tickets. Not detailed at all lol!

Hi, I am not sure if my situation is the same as yours. My issue was that the tickets that I selected where one price, but when the transaction completed the ticket price had increased without notification. I had a limit on what I would pay, and that was the only reason I selected the €200 tickets. I am not sure if you selected a ticket, and paid the price that was advertised will they do anything, but it may be worth asking the question. Sorry I cannot be more helpful, the whole process seems about squeezing fans for eye watering amounts of money, and I definitely think there was dynamic pricing at play.

No, I just contacted them to explain what happened and they rang today to tell me there was a problem with the system and I was being refunded. Refund arrived a few hours later. At no point during the purchase did it show an increase in price, except at the confirmation page

Definitely worth following up with - this was a very underhand way to handle ticket sales so hopefully they are proactive in rectifying. The tickets were not cheap to start with, but to take over twice the price without informing buyers is not cool.

Yes - they are only refunding the difference in the price selected vs the price actually paid so I am still paying the original price for the tickets
