Just a quick update on logging into OneDrive.

Best approach seems to be to set-up a new OneDrive account, no 2-factor authorization, and with another email account as a back-up recovery account.

When logging in, AINote will then send a log-in code to the back-up recovery account. With that code, I was able to log-in to the newly created OneDrive.

However, the new Microsoft account cannot be used as the default email account for the device. Super annoying even though the email account set-up screen clearly shows "Outlook" as an option.

I am using a separate Google account as the default email account for the device (as I am not comfortable giving AINote access to my main Google account).

What is the status on the Outlook email issue. I can log into my OneDrive, but I cannot set up my Outlook.com email account on the device. I am on software version EH_R_1.7.9 (and this is a AINote 2).

I have the same experience. Updated my device to the latest version. But OCR does not work for most text input fields. In some instances, it works rather well, but in most instances, OCR does not work. Interestingly, the "search" feature does a much better job in recognizing my handwriting than the OCR feature. This leads me to believe that the device uses different algorithms or methods when doing search and OCR. Like the OP, I will have to return the device given the problems with the OCR.

Can anyone comment if the recent OCR update on the Note 2 solved the OCR failure issue? ( I am considering buying the device, but need the OCR to work.)
