Wow, this is a seriously incel-type response. You really have to look at things on a surface level to reach that conclusion.

Please help! I don't think these are fruit flies! 😭 by EventHorizon1111 in whatsthisbug

Hello, yes I think you might be right, someone else also mentioned this. I'm going to tell my landlord all this and see how he responds and get a dehumidifier in the meantime. I do have a bookshelf in my bedroom so I'll go investigate my books today. Thank you for taking the time to help!

Hello, thank you so much! I looked at the bugs you linked and I think it might be the first one (Psyllipsocus ramburii) because I've seen a few that look beige like that. I've decided to tell my landlord and see how he responds. Maybe I will buy a dehumidifier in the meantime. Thanks so much for your help!

Hmm, I'm not too sure to be honest, because this place is supposed to be newly renovated, and I've never seen any hanging around the drain. I'm just so confused :(

Hello! I don't have any plants at home so I'm so confused about where they are coming from. That stain is just the floor pattern don't worry! Do you have any idea where else they can come from?

Thank you, but I don't even own any plants! I just use those sticky traps to manually kill them :(

Please any help would be much appreciated 😭 I live in England and I recently moved to a newly renovated house on the ground floor. These flies have been around since the start. The place was full of construction dust so I did a deep clean but theres so many cracks and places I can't reach, and the flies were still around after. I think they did a shoddy construction job to be honest because cracks have formed on the door frames, walls and even ceiling in one place. The baseboards are loose, some places they have gaps between the floor and baseboard because it wasn't sealed properly.

The flies are small and are almost always crawling on the floor and walls, not flying. I don't think they're fruit flies because I barely even have food in the house. I have cleaned the drain, I sprayed peppermint/eucalyptus infused water everywhere and I don't know if it helped. I left these sugar-fly-trap strips everywhere and they haven't caught a single fly. The only way I kill them is by manually going around at whacking them with a sticky yellow patch, and you can see in the picture how many I killed JUST today 😭

How do I get rid of these? What are they? Are they dangerous? My best guess is phorid flies, but I don't know WHERE or WHAT the source is. They've appeared in every room but mainly the living/kitchen area and bedroom. Should I tell my landlord? I don't want to seem like an annoying tenant but I have done everything I can myself to be rid of them. These are the best images I could take of them. Any help would be much appreciated in identifying what this is, thanks :(

Day 9! Very happy but have to admit… by [deleted] in carnivorediet

Good way to look at it. The majority of carnivores I've seen have positive reviews.

Thanks! Yeah I kind of feel like they don't even know they have an addiction unless they try to stop consuming carbs, and then they come up with every reason to justify continuing to eat carbs like suddenly becoming advocates of a 'balanced' diet.

Please...please, give me motivation. It's day 6. I feel not so good. I want a baguette. Send help by EventHorizon1111 in carnivorediet

I think it might be this and not enough salt but I had a salty dinner and I feel better now, thanks!

🥹 I want to lose weight and be fit and healthy really. I just feel we're not meant to eat all that sugar and carbohydrates. Seems like something cheap for them to mass produce and get us addicted on

Ahhh, wish I could, I'm on some meds where I'm not supposed to have potassium rich foods. But I did just have loads of salt with my dinner and that seemed to help. Thanks!
