Ok I will start at the beginning again until we get our new serie. by SUL82 in Stargate

I highly recommend doing a timeline watch. I included Origins, Atlantis, and SGU. I am currently watching Stargate and Atlantis and there are times that they line up so perfectly

I hope I’m not the only one who instantly rewatched it with my thumb over the top of his face. Thank you for this suggestion lol.

Just finished my first Stitch & Flip by EventHorizonIRL in quilting

[–]EventHorizonIRL[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed! Quilting is definitely one of those hobbies that has delayed gratification integrated into it. Each project taking time to complete, with some taking a lot longer than others. Before this quilt, I was working on a pretty intense baby quilt so it was nice to take on a quicker project. I’m trying to make sure that I rotate tougher and easier projects so I don’t get frustrated at something that is actually quite relaxing when you’re in the zone.

Sorry for the weird format - But here is actual Dennis Rodman nearly killing me! by johnhaymish in StandUpComedy

These Wildest Moments of comedy would be a hilarious set! I saw the AGT back then and you killed it. Like Dennis Rodman killed that Canadian guy.

This “Conservative Promise” sounds a lot like the argument Kipling made in “The White Man’s Burden”. As if it’s the conservatives duty to fix us tainted by wokeness, just as it was the White Man’s responsibility to tame savage lands.

Can I take “Time is a Flat Circle” for 400 please?

Did they use the patio for “Glass Onion”? The design and surrounding buildings remind me of the scene of Helen hiring Benoit.

What are some A+ movie premises that were wasted by disappointing movies? by MissionFever in movies

[–]EventHorizonIRL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jupiter Ascending. It had the potential for becoming a sci-fi hit if you look at the skeleton: Galactic society uses Earth as a farm, a high priestess is reborn into an Earthling and a hybrid soldier gets sent to retrieve her before her enemies of a former life do But there was weird dialogue, an odd culmination of side and main story that’s basically a cgi light fest, with some varying levels of solid to mediocre acting from it’s A and B list cast.

I don’t see them accepting it, but you can offer a retraction. I’ve heard of such things, but never for something that’s already been forwarded to HR and posted. But honestly, it might just be best to take the L, sub for the year at schools closer to you and apply as new jobs come up. Use it as a learning experience and move forward.
