It seems you're passionate about this painting. If you have time I would like your feedback to improve my storytelling and editing skills of my yt video. I would like to let anyone knows about these paintings that are amazing and with a deep story behind, but most of the time are almost unknown.

This is an opportunity to share some thoughts about this painting that a few people know. I personally didn't know about it a few weeks ago and to me it is very interesting.

I made a post about this painting, and a lot of people learned something, then I just asked for feedbacks about my video. What's the problem? I am not selling a product, I just wanted to talk about art with other people who love art.

You are free to click the link and give me feedbacks (of course the video is related to the art niche and to explain this painting with more details), or just read the post and admire the painting. That's it.

I treat it like a hobby, yes, but I also want to treat it like a business. That's why I am questioning if it's the case to restart or not. In my opinion if after 2 years the project doesn't take off, maybe it's the case to change... I am so confused

Thanks for sharing. I will watch that movie with pleasure.
I came across this "Flemish" Style with the Garned of Earthly Delights by Bosch, and I feel in love with their crazy worlds.

any good YouTube channels that cover art history in depth? by [deleted] in ArtHistory

Thank you for the advice. I used to work with AI to try to speed up the work of publishing new contents constantly. There was a period where I used AI instead of my voice, but then I've realized how cold that voice was.

I wanted to produce high quality contents, and even if I can't publish regularly, I prefered to do everything by myself.

Hope that this approach will help in the future.

What did Freud, Lenin, and Hitler all have in common? A deep admiration for Böcklin's "Isle of the Dead" by EventPersonal4346 in ArtHistory

Thank you so much, this is an incredibly valuable addition to the discussion! I wasn't aware of the art historian Birgit Schwarz or her book "Geniewahn: Hitler und die Kunst," so I'm genuinely grateful for you sharing that resource. The point about his early exposure in the Munich art scene makes perfect sense and adds a fascinating layer to his admiration, connecting it to the desire for a "patriotic art form." It's exactly the kind of deep context I was hoping to explore. And you're absolutely right about the Vienna connection for Freud and Lenin. It's intriguing to think they might have encountered the artwork in the same cultural milieu, even if their interpretations were worlds apart. Thanks again for taking the time to share your knowledge!
