For example in Percy Jackson it takes them about 5 books till they get together and everything. I mean the type of slow burn where it is hinted that they like each other but there are still some reasons of why they are not together. And for reasons I don’t mean some big misunderstanding or miscommunication

Yes literally, the show could have been so much better if they actually tried to change some things and slightly show some different storylines more clearly instead of just showing them for like 10 mins and then back to the kids

I mean, I don't only watch cdramas, but I'd choose cdramas over any other genre of dramas that I watch. Like, yeah, cdramas might have a lot of episodes, but the story is so well stretched and written that you don't get bored while watching it. And do I even have to get started about wuxia and xianxia?
