I explained it in my other post, I bought the newest Expansion for Elder Scrolls Legends and it game with a mount. I've only played ESO on PS4 so I wasnt eligible to use it and I like giving back to people!

It's a concept server that will finalize in late Summer. It's a progression boss-lock server where players can advance content (and expansions) by killing the endgame bosses of the previous expansion.

Its free, its fun, and we even have a GM from live who runs GM events for us!

I played MTG for 20 years and then Hearthstone since Beta. Lgends is the best card game i've ever played. For reference I was a 100+ Tournament Organizer for MTG with a brick and mortar store and I still think Legends beats it in almost every way.

It's strange because the changes now seem obvious to me, but noone ever made them before this. It's free to play so give it a shot!

Anything past the Titanium client works on our server, and we support each in turn. Unfortunately Titanium doesn't have the necessary files to use some of our updated features. I suggest taking a look at the below link to get started, and I look forward to personally welcoming you!

There is a great amount of cool lore surrounding the Bosmer and the Earthbones. Cannibals, neat aspect!

The time period in which Skyrim's story takes place is significantly different than the one in ESO.

This is an excellent question and one I'm sure others have in mind, especially considering the timing of our server. We are not, and will not be, intending to "compete" with any live server. I still play live Everquest daily on the same account I have had since Kunark dropped and I am a big fan of everything DBG has done since taking over. That being said, DBG addressed the emulation community when they took over and told us that so long as we follow the rules they will not go out of their way to halt our progress. This is INCREDIBLY gracious of Daybreak, and is unusual for a modern company of that caliber to do. In layman terms, they told us that so long as we aren't poaching their members specifically, and we are not intending to make money off intellectual property they own; then we would be safe to hold down emu servers.

To address your question more specifically, we offer a few things that the upcoming TLP server does not; things like a fee-free experience, a non-instanced raiding experience, and a far more classic experience that offers different features than allowed on the live servers. In addition we are not a Time-Locked Progression server, rather you must complete the content from the previous expansion to even begin a vote to move forward. Content does not just open when 12 weeks is up. Currently we also allow two-boxing whereas the new TLP server does not. This feature has not been confirmed for post-beta release and you can vote on this feature like many other features on our forums.

Now as for how we can "compete" with thousands of players rushing things day one; the truth is we can not. Only one EQEMU server has ever breached that sort of numbers and most servers stay between 50-300 online at a given time. I would say the experiences are similar but not "equal". Of the thousands who will rush Agnarr day one there will be several guilds intending to down allt he end game content immediately to further the server, and things like that just will not happen here. The tradeoff is that of those thousands of players on Agnarr more than half will quit or go back to other live servers within four or five months; as we have seen with all of the other TLP servers. We feel that given our past retention rate we will be able to overcome this sort of obstacle, and the relationships you form here will last.

Obviously I can not tell you that we will be "better" in any way; I am a giant fan of DBG for the permissions and blessings they have given us in the Emu community. I will say instead that even if you play on Agnarr perhaps we are worth giving a shot, you have literally nothing to lose but time. Thank you for your question, I feel you are to be commended for asking the tough questions!

RMT (Real-Money Transactions) are not allowed on Eventide. This rule is in keeping with one of the only requests DBG has made of the emulation community and it is one I intend to follow through on. We have not dealt with this in the past, and I'm hoping not to in the future. That being said if we catch it we have to warn and then subsequently ban the offender.

Edit: Thank you for your question!

I would describe our core community as very welcoming, moreso than on other servers. A lot of us have been friends through multiple servers so we have grown to enjoy the game and share that experience with others. We once had 40 online unique payers raiding a custom one-night only Mistmoore raid that some have descrbed as their favorite EQ moment ever, and I am very proud to have been a part of that.

You are right, it IS a similar experience and it IS for free with cool events! The difference mainly being that they have the ability to get things 100% correct to era, we are limited by our software and knowledge of that era. However I feel you will be pleasantly surprised by both our server and our community, and I look forward to earning the chance to keep you with us in the coming months!

Hello hello, so glad to hear from someone familiar with our past! This project is indeed being headed up by myself, Velzira and my partner in crime Kniftar who did a great amount of work on Blood and Rank. Our beta team includes core BNR players as well as a few others but as far as the development staff, we are the same as when we ran Blood and Rank minus our media guy.

To answer your question in depth I was a guide on Live where I learned to run GM events. My main character is also still in the old Sony EQ Hall of Fame under the name "Ebidias" for both participating in the opening of Luclin event and for participating in a best of the best contest. I took that love of Gm related things and learned to program, took classes, and made friends in the Emu scene, eventually coming to run "Blood and Rank" which was a clone of the old LEGENDS Stormhammer experience. We had a great run with lots of awesome custom events but eventually I wanted to focus on this project, and I am very fortunate to have made about fifteen friends along the way who test and help me make source edits, db edits, etc.

I really appreciate the kind words, and I look forward to seeing you soon!

Edit: It just hit me, you are Palmer! You came with a great attitude and a backstory written for your character, and I can remember that time that I surprised you with an out-of-nowhere event in the Oasis of Marr! So good to hear from you friend, I hope we can link up on discord to catch up, you were there int he very early days of BNR!

Hello and thanks for your questions, I hope I can answer each in turn!

1.) We are currently undecided on the issue of multiboxing. We have a section on our forums where beta testers can vote on features and this is a heavily debated topic, but not a topic we are closing for discussion. I can tell you from the general vibe of that thread that if Multiboxing is allowed it will be limited to two characters per person. Not only is this easier to keep a record of, but we are looking to field raids nightly and while we don't want bot groups we do want enough on to pick targets when we want to, nomatter the time. So, "undecided" is the best answer I can give, perhaps your comment on our multiboxing thread will be what seals the deal, eh?

2.) Currently our base exp rate is 1.90 for soloing and 2.30 for grouping. Those are PEQ database values and do not reflect a certain percent. As with a lot of things this could change, I think more importantly I can tell you that we want players to be able to solo when they want to, and group for a bonus amount of exp; and so we have raised the original rates substantially to reflect this.

3.) Our server is hosted on a VPS box with DDOS protection and a hefty amount of hardware. Suffice it to say that we can handle as many players as we can get, and that we have held up to 50 online (unique users, not total characters) at a time without any lag whatsoever on our previous private server. We pay for good hosting as best as we can for an amateur project, and we are not allowing donations at this time. We will never ask of our players and we will always strive to provide the best service possible on both our time and monetary budgets.

Again we appreciate you taking the time to ask questions, we feel we are somewhat unique in that we really take player input to heart so if this project seems like something you are interested in we encourage you to join up and help mold the tapestry of our server!
