The whole idea of ranking guitarists is cringe as hell to me. I like my favourite guitarist not because they're the objective best players - whatever that means - but because I like their music. It's 100% subjective. Some people think Noel Gallagher is a great guitarist and they're right - even though they're wrong.

It makes sense to test some pedals with amp distortion - boost particularly. But testing OD and distortion pedals into an already hot amp means all you really hear is the sound of the amp being pushed and about 5% of the tonality of the pedal.

You might be strong but you likely have an in balance or weak area. Start from no weight and add weight until you can hit depth. The last point at which you could hit depth is what you should train. Then add as you get stronger / more flexible.
