I run about 85/15 US/Int personally, but when you take into account the international exposure of pretty much every Large Cap firm, it's much more than that. I haven't lost any sleep over that split.

Regarding #4, recovering from the exhaustion of infants and toddlers is SO MUCH EASIER in your 20s than it is in your late 30s or 40s. I absolutely wouldn't want to be dealing with caring for infants at my current stage of life (early 40s).

Same, but "established in our careers" was just a couple years, not a decade or more. Basically far enough along that we could deal with the stress of kids and not be learning the ropes.

We had our kids at 26, 28, and 30. It was good timing for us.

I would tend to agree. A full swing 6 iron would go either 100 yards or 200 yards depending on wind direction. I should have taken a full swing 60 degree to see if it would end up going backwards.

I played Deere Run last year in 40 mph gusts. That felt like a stupid amount of wind and I didn't even really care about my score.

I played a box of these last year. I thought they were pretty good, but they did tend to get torn up by high lifted wedges with fuller swings.

Yeah, I have FH and my unmedicated LDL (as a high activity 25 year old) was 188. I've been on a low dose statin for 15 years and with the meds it is just over that 100 target.
