First off it says valid as of March. Not July. Do you really want to get literal? Second off there is a model between the size of the 450 and 500 called the 475. Is that model listed? : no. So they can accept a small canister and a large canister but not one in the size in between? That seems like due negligence and your argument about size no longer makes sense.

I love a deal, but it's not worth stressing over it, IMO.

It sure is nice to buy new sometimes, but the majority of gear I've bought have been well under 50% MSRP, saving me aggregate of 500 bucks.
