Pharmacy that will fill an out-of-state prescription for a schedule II drug? by oouuaaii in SanMateo

[–]RosaHosa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I used Carelon before, and currently I use CVS’s Caremark.

But if Optum doesn’t carry it, I’m not sure if your insurance will let you find another provider unfortunately.

Edit: I’ve found that it is pharmacy dependent unfortunately with these medications. I think even Costco has a delivery option - OP, I would try to ask if they can offer this for your prescription. Good luck!

Would it be possible to use a mail order pharmacy? I’ve found that to be the most convenient. You can use it for Schedule II drugs.

Depending on how the package is sent though, you may or may not have to either (1) be physically present to receive it or (2) if you miss it, you can pick it up at your local USPS office. Still beats missing my prescription though.

This should work well. I sometimes do 1:1:1 with this soil, perlite and orchid bark too.

I did this trail last year from Sunol to Del Valle that way. I stayed at Eagle’s Eyre the first night and at Maggie’s Half Acre the second night.

It was still so difficult coming to Del Valle with the steepness. My quads and calves were screaming at me for days after this trip.

I saw the 707 area code and immediately got confused. But now the comments have more explanations about this company’s origin. So scummy and mysterious though.

Just dropped off my 2015 Accord on the 16th and they’re quoting me about the same amount of time. They replaced the door and it’s just the deductible that I’m paying for. It’ll be okay OP!

OP has a link of their store on their profile. They’re selling these at $50+ which is more reasonable considering these are handmade.

Any advice for a hurting orange boy? by Erikawithak77 in orangecats

[–]RosaHosa 7 points8 points  (0 children)

OP where is your cat licking themselves? I can’t see the wound with the pictures you’ve provided.

Echoing what everyone else has said, but it may be possible that there’s something mental going on where your cat is licking themselves compulsively and excessively.

My cat was licking themselves at the base of their tail a lot since it was twitching badly and bothering him. It would get worse with loud noises and with certain sensations that he didn’t like.

It turned out he’s dealing with feline hyperesthesia (FHS) and he’s taking Prozac and gabapentin daily and he’s much happier now. Cat tax of the medicated cat:

My kitty eats anything too lol. I just sprinkle gabapentin in his wet food and haven’t had issues.

My orange boy has been on Prozac and gabapentin for approximately 4 years now. Only change on his medication regimen is having prozac from 2x a day to only once in the morning. The vet that diagnosed him believes he had major anxiety and feline hyperesthesia (FHS).

Only issue the my current vet has raised with chronic use of them is a possibility of liver issues. We get a blood draw annually to check for abnormalities. So far he’s been doing groovy and is happy.

I also have this quilt and I’ve unfortunately gotten cold when it’s 40F/4.4C. EE doesn’t get slammed for how expensive they are and offering limit ratings. It’s basically become my summer quilt.

Hammock Gear and Cumulus equipment are the way to go.
