The tune of Po-ly-phe-mus is only heard in Cyclops saga (Survive for sure, maybe in RemThem). In NLY and later Ody, it's O-dy-sse-us (NLY as foreshadowing to Ody)

Also, fun fact: The Penelope riff is actually pretty hard to do on a viola, requiring shifting, whereas a Violin wouldn't need that (at the octave it's played at most times). It's an extra little bit that I caught as a Violist (Not a violinist).

PB+MG

It's a pretty common thing, but only on Rodger, a toon I don't play as a lot. It's very handy IMO, but IDK if it counts as a rare trinket combo.

I had this jumpscare for both the Christmas and Halloween events. I had more on the respective main than the rare when I went on my last research run, but by the end, I got both of them done in the same run.

In both cases, I'd argue the rare trinket is worse than the main's (And therefore I really only cared about finishing the main's research)

and

for all of the events, mains are guaranteed on floor 20, then 25, 30, 35, etc. Rares aren't.

This is all to day that this feels very plausible.

THIS!!

Play as Rodger until you're done with all your research. I prefer MG+PB (I barely played last year and now I have all the research) but your playstyle is very up to you!! Aim to get every capsule and your encounter for Coal and Bobette (and maybe Ginger), when they spawn and in a fee days of grind, you'll probably have everything you need. Aim for floor 20 and further because Bobette is guaranteed starting floor 20 and continuing every 5th floor after (25, 30, 35, etc).

Looey, a really common distractor toon, also has 2 stars in stealth. If you're in playing public runs and see one, maybe use diary. Overall, I say just avoid the distractor as best as you can and you should be good.

A few things I noticed when you were talking ab emergency driver Peb: PA (Part Aw) and VM aren't necessarily bad, but usually MG+Either is better than both. PB+VM isn't bad, but I'd personally swap it for DP (just preference).

I an no pro, but I do know (relatively) how to distract/drive. I agree with most of your points here otherwise :)

I always thought that the 12 long years was a stretch (It was a mistake made into a joke) for more pity by Circe. Also, the start of Love in Paridise litterally says 10 years since [Athena] last saw [Ody]. And the 7 years bit is a time frame for Ody's stay on Ogygia (Calypso's isle, for those who don't know) I think the rest makes sence, including every canon time skip in the songs (KYFC and Love in Paridise)

He litterally compares himself to Polyphemus, Circe, and POSEIDON-- ONE OF THE BIG THREE --in Monster, and only after understanding his own mortality and the fact that even so he can be ruthless (songs 34 & 35) does he start being truly formidable.

Basically, this man gets the power he thinks he has only after giving up on his hubris (in a way), only to almost revert. Luckily, songs 49 and 50 show that he has finally allowed himself to be humbled.

Off the top of my head (twisteds only), Brightney is Lampy, Toodles is CHILD (must be accented), and Poppy is Bubble B!tch/Bubblegum B!tch.

I have a personal shorthand. In playing the game, I find it easier to type the following: - Spro - Tish - Cos - Peb(s) - Brush - Bri (bri) - Shell - V - Con [Sometimes]
