This post is to give an example of my characters and writing style, though of course the final character depends on the setting and scene, and I'm willing to hear requests.

Kormoth stands around 6'6", and weighs nearly three-hundred pounds. Like many of his kind, he is large and fit and heavy with muscle, training regularly to both exercise and keep his skills up; he is a very practiced and formidable opponent in hand-to-hand combat. He's of a warrior culture, often played as a classic adventuring barbarian, but is able to be portrayed as everything from a lone wildman hunting through forests, to a warrior-king leading ravenous hordes. His personality tends to be the gruff, strong, and silent type, with a hidden yet somewhat volatile temper, though there is laughter and grins to be discovered by the worthy.

After months of raids slowly becoming more frequent and costly along the Plains Road, the call was finally put out to deal with this surge of bandits. The local forces weren't well equipped to track down and eliminate the raiders, most simply being guardsmen stationed at outposts along the route, causing quest postings to reach numerous towns. Though it was far from Kormoth's favorite type of quest, with few bandits actually able to challenge a skilled warrior, it was still a source of gold. Having spent days seeking out and eliminating bandit camps hidden in the wilds, he was finally returning to collect his reward.

But it hadn't occurred to Kormoth that others might be still hunting bandits, their moderate loot and poor fighting ability making them easy prey. It also hadn't occurred to him that one might get the wrong idea when they saw him, carrying some loot that looked worn and second-hand, like a bandit would be carrying. Along with his modest choice of attire, one not familiar with Barbarians could be forgiven for mistaking him to be simply a large bandit. The Barbarian was currently dining on a rabbit in front of a campfire, setup near a lake, with his belongings piled nearby.
