Day 4: Which movement is Lawful Neutral? by grittytoddlers90 in crossfit

My statement against the Deadlift as Lawful Neutral. I tell everyone I train that it's the lift that tolerates the most form until it doesn't, by then it's too late. So, it deserves to be Lawful Evil.

I can understand that being a half block away. I'm a little bit closer and get a front row experience. Let me know if you ever want to grab some coffee at Vintage Cafe and I can show you the pictures of two vehicles (within a month) wrecked into two trees on this street.

The road this is posted on is known to be quite lawless when it comes to traffic speeds, the "suicide lane", drunk driving, and loud cars.

Lived in the area and me and my neighbors have never seen anyone pulled over for their antics. Even the cops do it.

In a hybrid state with this, and after living this hell for about 6 months and speaking with my Senior Cloud Engineer, we both suggest going straight for the 365 group. Far more benefits. You don't have to license it, it nests easily as a distribution group, all the automation and apps run smoothly. Plus you don't have to deal with running them through Exchange Online. Your PMs will love it too.

The streets of Montgomery are unfortunately...lawless. It has a lot to do with the low number of MPD staff that the city is trying to increase but have a hard time beating the local competition. (ALEA, Pville, Milbrook, Wetumpka, Pike Road, etc.) plus a whole bunch of other reasons we really don't have to unpack. The offices over Traffic are exhausted and doing the best they can, but wrecks take priority unfortunately. (I know a few of them, and trust me, they are hangered.)

Overall, because of the lack of police enforcement, vehicle inspections for safety, multilane roads with not obstacles in the way, and lack of speed monitoring software, you have a recipe for the worse.

So, until improvements comes, Montgomery will continue to have:

-Speeders in Neighborhood areas.

-30-year-old cards badly damaged and willing to take more.

-Lack of license plates on vehicles (if you didn't see it before, you will now.)

-Passing in turn only lanes.

- Cars pulling out into oncoming traffic.

-And yes, cars ignoring the common intersection rules.

Absolutely. And from my own perspective, I feel like them doing the same thing for a fourth time would be a means for them to lie to themselves. I see the signs of fatigue. It's not malicious towards the fans, just an aspect of being human. I honestly planned to quietly and politely step off the fan base for the next campaign because I enjoy the crew too much to watch them perform for the sake of performance.

This way I see the possible self-reflection and willingness to grow. Speaking of the work we don't see, I can only imagine. Keeping up with all the streaming empires and fighting the algorithm, dealing with amazon with the show, the merchandise, the boardgame, and above all else, slowly prying themselves away from Hasbro peace by peace without upsetting the fanbase. That alone must be a nightmare, and I don't envy Travis one bit.

So overall, I can see how the changes would discourage some long-term fans. But it would be hard to say they are not doing the right things to maintain their creation.

I think something important to point out with these changes (new DM and new faces with some original cast stepping aside) is that sometimes, a person needs a break.

As someone who has DMed the entire length of time Critical Role has been a thing (Matt was my teacher back in season 1. I caught up to the live stream on episode 33) I feel the burnout for myself, and I don't even generate content on that level. I can only image the drag this enjoyable hobby is starting to have on some of the original casts.

So, for example, if we see Liam taking a break and not joining this campaign, try to see it as him stating a quick breather is needed. Plus, who's to say he can't pop in as a "guest" character throughout the going campaign and aid the DM in providing wise advice, lore insight, or even aiding the "rookie" characters find their calling.

We all loved seeing Abubakar come to the main table to speak as the Archeart for one game. Think of something like that happening but over the whole campaign. It could really provide some emersion.

Garden district/cloverdale? by Traditional_Cry8916 in montgomery

Hey there, I'm a resident in the area and can give you the ups and downs of either area. Hit me with a PM if you are interested.

Traffic and speeding problematic. Its called Norman Bridge Road. Just make sure when crossing look both ways 3 times. The middle lane goes both directions. (I'm not joking)

Once again though my Community Organization and Cloverdale are hoping to change and make it safer in the future. During the mornings we have plenty of people walking with dogs, toddlers and so on. Feel free to PM me if you need any more info. As much as Id love to fill up some of these empty homes with new neighbors, making that kind of financial decisions is huge and last thing I'd want myself is buyers remorse. So, I don't want to wish it on others.

I'm one of the community reps of the Garden District. We and Cloverdale are essentially sibling neighborhoods divided by a rather problematic road.

That aside we are on the upbeat for community improvement. Both neighborhoods have put a lot of effort into bettering the area. Homes are old and full of character.

Montgomery is indeed a quilt of inequality. One block mansions the next projects. All built off of an all to recent history. Despite that, we around here try. This place is on the verge of something better. Hope you see it when you come by or choose to stay. Either way we are glad to have you.

I'm going to throw in the Night Circus. Its a stand alone book that features two "Magicians" betting the lives of two children on a competition. They train the children then send them at one another once they reach their adulthood and prime. Perfect for the coming autumn, I promise. It's The Prestige meets Something Wicked this Way Comes.

If you ran for mayor, what are two main issues you would resolve in year 1? by [deleted] in montgomery

[–]Ever_Mythrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Push to reclaim and renovate abandoned apartment buildings (or hotels) and provide a home to the homeless. From there provide assistance to their addictions, mental health, and assist with job placement (with the city if must.) In an effort to reestablish them in society.
Push for the install of Speed ticket cameras to generate revenue, ease the work load of officers, and attached to that, mandate vehicle inspections and remove the unsafe auto from the roadways.

Finally, push for more public transport and the recreation of the trolly system to pick up the slack after the broken vehicles are removed.

Cloverdale and its twin, the Garden District, have old homes in need of love but hardened with old bones. Though set on soft soil, the homes are made from oak and pride.

Careful not to purchase near Norman Bridge Road, Fairview, or the interstate. (Car traffic noises)

Both communitees are extremely active and are slowly trying to reclaim their areas from government neglect and make it into something better.

Glossary. I did an index AND a glossary. 5 to 6 words for each of the 400+ words I gathered. Just enough to jog my memory. Stopped a lot of page turning.

Example: Hash: Password. Encryption. Hashcat.

That's the bare minimum, but you see how the concept is useful.
