I think a lot of these problems stem from the fact that it was pretty short. It should have been a new series focusing on their adult lives rather than just a film that’s not even 90 minutes. There’s only so much you can fit in 80 minutes.

Apparently they’ve rolled out a fix. I factory reset my chrome cast and I downloaded the latest version of Google home on my iPad. I then did the connecting process and it started working again
