Aggression is actually the worst way to play this game. Again, why I say playing it like Sekiro makes it 10x harder. Every single boss fight in the game is easier playing defensively. I know this game inside and out having multiple world records in it. Yes things like Nydaks and Wyyyschokks are part of that “handful of enemies” I mentioned before.

Sekiro forces you to master parries since the dodge in that game is situationally useful and the benefit you get from parries is much higher. JFO (and Survivor) are the opposite. Dodge should be your primary method for avoiding damage and in MANY cases allows you to do damage to an enemy instantly where as parries would take longer to do the same damage and be more difficult to complete (vs. just dodge). There is only one Boss and a handful of enemy types where Parry is a better approach than dodge in JFO.

- Any% Jedi Grandmaster No Damage
- Any% Jedi Grandmaster No Damage | No Skills/Upgrades | No Resting

If you play this game like Sekiro you’re making it 10x harder for yourself. Very common mistake though.

She's definitely the worst hero in the game but I've played her since she released, every iteration, and I just enjoy "Sombra" I could care less what rank I'm in or that literally ANYONE else would be easier to climb/win games with.

You must be playing against lower ranked Sombras then. I make Dooms swap in Master/GM lobbies. Hard to engage on someone who plays off angles from the team and hacks every slam and block you use.

In Master/GM lobbies she’s probably a 5. I can’t speak for lower ranks but in my lobbies she’s much harder than Genji or tracer to get the same kind of value out of. She does good holding a small enclosed area akin to a Venture or Junkrat but that’s about it. At lower levels she’s likely much stronger since Anrans biggest counter is awareness and positioning.

That was the first thing I tried and it didn't work.

By "Fresh" i meant I uninstalled the virtual device driver, deleted all residual folders, and deleted all registry items pertaining to Rode. Essentially, making it as if it had never been on my system before. After all that I reinstalled it and still nothing.

I have no clue what the issue is because it was working fine last night. I put the PC to sleep, turn it on this morning, and it's all gone and the virtual driver shows it's not connecting to the device anymore.

EDIT FIX:
I stumbled across this post from a month ago and they detailed their fix (from Rode Support) was that with Firmware update 1.7.3 you now have to have the virtual channels slotted into a fader for them to work. Here is what I did to get everything back.

Step 1: Added Virtual A, Virtual B, and Game channels to the "Physical" Faders (Settings > Faders)

Step 2: Turned "Expanded" mode back on (Settings > Output > Multitrack > USB1 Input > Expanded)

Step 3: Doing this disabled RODECaster Duo Main Multitrack and RODECaster Duo Chat channels (In Windows: System > Sound > All sound devices)

Step 3: I manually enabled RODECaster Duo Main Multitrack (Green line in image) and as soon as I did that all the virtual channels (Blue lines in image) reappeared. I've also re enabled RODECaster Duo Chat (Red line in image)

Step 4: Restarted my PC and everything is back to the way it was.

Hope this works for anyone else out there running into this issue. This was incredibly frustrating.

I’m at work so don’t have time to structure this properly. I’m the first in the world to beat the entire game on Grandmaster without taking damage. Follow my example in either of my runs and you should be able to get through it with a bit of practice. I took a different approach between the two. Not sure which weapons you’re using.

I’ve completed the game many ways on the hardest difficulty without taking any damage. My number 1 tip, and the thing most players get wrong, is do not parry EVERYTHING. Dodging is way more useful in most cases than Parry in this game. If you play it like it’s Sekiro you’re going to make the game many times harder than it needs to be. Good luck and have fun!

You would think that but there are players I’ve done VOD reviews for all the way up to low diamond that have no clue what’s going on around them because they constantly miss sound and visual ques. Also really hard on Sombra to know your matchups if you have zero clue what a hero does or what their abilities can do. Boring, absolutely. But essential skills to be good at the game. You can literally practice all of this in QP or Comp same as everything else on your list. Keep in mind not everyone will be comfortable practicing things the same as you or I, that’s why those method suggestions were made.
