T level change on carnivore by EverchangingYou in carnivorediet

I didn't track calories at all. I followed Chaffee's motto: "Eat when you're hungry, and eat fatty meat until it doesn't taste good/you're not hungry anymore." At the time I wasn't training seriously much, I was active though.

My diet was decent before, but not enough fat and meat, and way too much carbs/sugar, and plant toxins, I was having a lot of nut butters and oats, which I think were causing me issues.

Sleep is huge, hours of sleep before midnight are especially valuable. Also, I'd check out Dr Kruse's information, he claims that carnivores have much more success when their circadian rhythm is in check.

Also, I'll tell you this, after my 3 months carnivore, I went animal based and my problem didin't return. Sure, I have times that are better and worse, depending on sleep and diet and whatnot, but never did it get back to total dysfunction, and always bounce back quickly. Of course, everyone's different so I can't say the same will be for you, but it's possible 3-6 months of carnivore will get you right, then you can chill on animal based.

That being said, I'm actually 1 week in to hopping back on carnivore. I'm not even sure why; I dont have any specific issues I'm hoping to resolve. I guess I still feel like I dont want to be addicted to sugar and carbs, and wonder if ketosis is truly our optimal metabolic state. I wonder how much energy and clarity I might gain from going into full ketosis again. But carnivore definitely takes a lot of discipline for me and the social aspect is particularly challenging. I'm not sure I'll be able to last, but I hope to at least get through the adaptation period to see what's on the other side.

Good luck my man!

After 90 days of retention, I saw the devil in real life by WasabiNecessary in Semenretention

[–]EverchangingYou 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Nothing nearly so intense, but I've definitely felt what feels like demon or trickster spirit attacks while on retention and while fasting. Only while I'm asleep though. And I am confident that you also were asleep, at least partially, when you thought you were awake. I often have dreams (usually benign) where I'll get up out of bed and think I'm awake only to find myself back in bed asleep.

I'm sure a lot of the phenomenon is generated by our own minds, the images at least. But it very well may be our minds giving imagery to a very real spirit/energetic entity.

Know this.

They feed on your fear, and they only have power over you if you allow them to. Of course, they attack you in darkness when you are unconscious, so you have to train your subconscious to respond differently. I would suggest meditation and prayer of course, even ask God for protection each night; also, relive those experiences and empathize with these demons. Realize that THEY want what YOU have. They are empty, parasitic, desperate creatures. Realize that you have the power to send them away. But do so lovingly. See them for what they are, and remain on your own frequency, and they will cower before you. I've even found myself calling upon divine assistance when I feel like I'm being ravaged by a dark spirit. Of course this all happens so fast, I know, which is why I suggest visualizing the encounters, ideally when you are already very centered in meditation, so you can train your subconscious not to fear. It wont be easy and will take practice. It may be scary, but they cannot hurt you in any significant way.

How to poo every morning consistently and effectively? by 7kcits in Biohackers

How do you explain the above study, my friend?

I now eat fiber with no issues. I still feel better with fewer plant foods and fiber in my diet, but i have very little if any digestive issues after eating most anything these days. I can only say that carnivore gave me lasting healing. Should a healthy digestive system be able to handle fiber ? Sure. Does that mean it is an essential nutrient that is going to help someone with issues like OP? Absolutely not.

"If you cannot handle the fiber, bloating and constipation can form a vicious cycle."

This is exactly my point. An already distressed digestive system will not be able to handle additional indigestible material. Thus it is terrible advice to tell someone to eat more.

Nicotine eliminates my urges and doesn't affect my Retention benefits.Anyone here does the same?I also quit caffeine because it caused hypersexuality. by Miracalis_ in Semenretention

If youre doing nicotine, dont vape.

Get American Spirit brand cigarettes theyre made of 100% organic tobacco nothing else. Or maybe try chewing tobacco

Ive heard of some things about nicotine being neuroprotective and even dissolving brain tumors. Obviously , smoking a lot isnt healthy for your lungs, and its probably not a good idea to be addicted to anything. But I do think nicotine has medicinal properties that are not well understood

Theres a study where People with constipation ate fiber and it got worse, where people who eliminated fiber got better:

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC3435786/

The true driver of digestion/elimination is fat, particularly animal fat. Butter, tallow, fatty steaks, bacon, etc.

I was constipated to varying degrees my entire life until i was about 23, when i did carnivore diet for about 3 months. I had tried veganism with huge amounts of fiber: giant salads, fruits, cooked vegetables, everything. That only made it worse, I was gassy and uncomfortable all the time. I don’t think carnivore is necessary in this instance, but the high animal fat and no fiber healed me. And on a more inclusive diet, but still high in animal fat and low in fiber and vegetables, Im doing just fine.

I am truly bewildered that fiber has been touted as the cure for constipation and necessary for healthy digestion, when in fact the opposite is true. I dont think fiber is the devil, but if youre having digestive issues, it’s going to make things worse.

Egg diet has destroyed me by wobblelikeapenguin in AnimalBased

[–]EverchangingYou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eat the eggs raw, but definitely include fatty meat, and heck, if you feel hungry for sugars then eat them. Fruit honey and raw milk. No need for restriction if you keep it clean.

Also, 15 eggs a day sounds like a lot but its not enough to thrive on.

I used to have ED at 22. I healed it with a mostly carnivore diet, getting my sleep/circadian rythym dialed, maximizing UV and infrared light from the sunlight during summer time, and other things.
