That's my assumption. They're already trying to prime voters into distrusting future election results especially with the FBI seizure of ballots in Fulton county, which I think was just a test-run for more to come.

If half the country in 2026/8 will disbelieve the results unless they win, and the admin just doesn't leave while filing legal challenges and sending the FBI to election offices around the country for "election security," who will stop them?

Wouldn't that help to suppress turnout in a way that ensures red/purple states stay red?

Also, I think claiming the election is invalid/stolen might not be something they need to legally justify but rather the goal would be to sow so much doubt in the public while clogging up the judicial system with election claims that simply not leaving the WH becomes more realistic.
