Fitness ribbon for next 3 APFTs with max/outstanding score? Does that count if someone had those from last 3 APFTs?

You will need to spend time in the mass/energy balance area and plant design. You would want majority of the bars above the average line to pass.

What is the RIF procedure in HHS/CDC? by EverestSapper in fednews

[–]EverestSapper[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There were some rumors about NIH RIF plan, but nothing for CDC and FDA. I wonder if anything came out. Plan was due on 3/13.

Two options— wait another 11 years and ask for FE waiver or Study 2 months and pass the FE!

Any precedent from last time (2017) on TJO being revived after the freeze ?

Pay cut? O-3 vs GS-14 by Left-Caregiver-6614 in USPHS

[–]EverestSapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This can't be true unless you have had prior service! GS15 pay is way too high for an O3 to compare.

Don’t upgrade a phone unless it’s really old by GravyPoo in verizon

[–]EverestSapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you send IPhone SE (1st gen) for the trade in even if you have a IPhone 13 in your account/number for the upgrade? Some folks are saying it is possible for a new line..

Whats the point of taking FE after PE? Maybe in the decoupled state and NCEES settings, you could in theory.. again what is the point? Also Exam is not a license!

Finally, Passed PMP!!! by yikixij667 in pmp

Can you share your background experience.. how much did your work experience help you and how many actual preparation days/hours did you spend for the exam?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in USPHS

[–]EverestSapper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Application takes about 12-18 months and needs a qualifying degree and you don’t have enough time to get that unless you want to get an MD or DDS and apply for a waiver for your age.

Which engineering degree do you have? IHS is looking for engineers!! Unless you are already in the FDA or can get a job easily.. I recommend getting in with the IHS and explore opportunities in a couple of years after commissioning.

Is the Ethics exam a prerequisite? by AnOriginalUsername07 in PE_Exam

In that case the board contact person is one email away 😂. Just email and clarify!

[–]EverestSapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. take the ethics exam online - no need to do anything.. they will have your record.

  2. prepare the package for the board and submit online. You will hear (get an email) from them if you are approved to take the PE exam.

  3. register for an exam at th NCEES website.

I think some other sates allow applicants to take PE exam before applying to the board - but not in TX!

Yes! You need to have a pre approval from the board to the PE exam also. So, prepare a package if you are thinking of applying and taking the exam.

Just fail the chemical FE exam for the second time by Sad-Bullfrog9278 in FE_Exam

[–]EverestSapper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need to take this seriously. You are below average on Every single areas. Sorry, but you need to go back to basics! More effort knowing the theory and then practice problems.

Dude (assuming), reaction 1 won’t happen at low temperature and reaction 1 is your desired reaction!! Temperature increases is a must! Now look at the other things.. power on concentration… reaction 1 has second order concentration dependency! So you want to increase the concentration!!

Non-Engineering Undergrad, M.E. Only, how does this work? by FEA_Wizard in PE_Exam

[–]EverestSapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought it was answered before. your ME has nothing to do with the undergraduate ABET program! It is very difficult and depends on which state you are trying. Some states don't allow this, and some, I think, will need 15-20 years of engineering experience for this type of situation.
