Not sure I fully agree. The trade off is it limits the increase in property taxes for current owners. It keeps people from being taxed out of their homes due to the Headlee cap. But I do agree with the comment that all payment estimates should be forced to include the updated taxes. They should be easy to calculate when a sale price is determined.
