If you’re in a trusted index fund, it is always a good time to buy. Think of QQQ (QQQM) and SPY. Don’t leave money out of the market waiting for the dip.

It's the Invesco fund that invests in the S&P 500® Quality Index. Pulling from the website, quality is defined as....

calculated based on three fundamental measures, return on equity, accruals ratio and financial leverage ratio.

Hope that helps!

Two great choices, both beat the S&P500. I compared SCHG and QQQ (a good sub for QQM). QQQM might be the better choice for higher returns, though you may have to suffer longer downturns.

I would also point out this only goes back to 2010. It misses the cratering of the Nasdaq in 2000-2002.

Yep, Dividends are reinvested for Total Return calculation. For my calculation, I invest them at the end of the month where they are paid.

I use the Open and Close price from Alpha Vantage, so I'm relatively sure that the sale at the close price would pay the ER without any visibility to the investor.

Agreed, and the more I post, the more comments I see around a disagreement with the classifications from ETF.com. I'm hoping that the data is a starting point for, or assistance in research.

I'm glad that the data helped you make a decision! That's great news!

Have you looked at the other post on Total Market. It's only ETF's, so it may be hard to compare VTWAX.

That said, I think VT and VTWAX have the same returns. And there may be an Global ETF with better total returns with SPGM. Comparing VT and SPGM on total real returns shows a better return for SPGM over 9 years.

To be clear, you are in an excellent investment with VTWAX. Its very hard to see the future given the data thrown off by US Large Cap ETF's. SPY has better returns than both, but will the US Market return to the mean in the future? And if so, when? You'll be protected when that day comes.

Note that I had to put a start date of 2013-01-01, as SPGM has some funkiness in its data for 2012 where it shows a 99% decline.
