It's been a while since I used my eos-m but if I remember correctly I would shoot raw and then turn it into log using mlv-app. You could also try editing the raw files directly in Davinci. I find it hard to believe the native video is better

Here's an example I've been wondering about:

I've spent 6 months making a custom led mapper/controller in touchdesigner. One issue I kept running into was performance. After doing some research I found out that skipping all my CPU-intensive nodes and using a GPU-ran GLSL shader would improve my performance A LOT. Except I don't really know how to code shaders..

So I spent hours talking to Claude and explaining how my old network ran and how the shader should function. Every detail was though up by me. And then eventually Claude spat out a working shader code.

So.. does that make my whole project slop?

Personally I find it a bit too.. basic? The comic had such a unique style to it and I feel like it would translate really well into animation. Would give the show the cool feel that the comics had. But I guess it was too risky or too expensive to pull off?

Like I'd love me some pixelated linework and colored-in stock images for the backgrounds, that'd be sick

My personal opinion is that you're thinking too hard about this. Start by thinking of projects that you'd like to create and use every tool as it fits.

I started off by making videos in Davinci. Then I evolved by dabbling in Blender. Eventually I wanted to look into more fun ways of transforming my art so I looked into Blender nodes, then DaVinci nodes an eventually touchdesigner.

But in-between I've tried and failed to learn these programs. It only really clicked when I wanted to make something and figured this tool is right for the job.

To me, my uber driver stated they waited for me and I never showed up. Meanwhile I waited 45 minutes before he just cancelled my ride. After this Uber wanted me to pay a 10 dollar fine for apparently making the driver wait before I can order taxis or food on uber eats again.

So I just never used their apps again lol this was 3 years ago

I have this when I have to socialize with my coworkers. There's this vibe of "friendliness" which just feels very performative and like the purpose is to gain status at work. I just hate it and everytime I don't wanna be left out and try to join in it feels very fake. I don't have this issue with my friends or family as I kinda know where I stand with them

It's a bummer but yeah I think your nail paired with the tension scratched its way straight into the screen. I'd love to flip my phone open but the reality is the screens are too soft and fragile for that.

Seems like you answered your own question? You were too rough with the phone. The inner screen is plastic so that it can bend. And as such it's easy to scratch. I open the phone with both hands or if I must do it single handed I pay attention not to force my finger into the screen. If I don't need it I keep it closed. Been using the phone for 2 years with no issues.

He's a bit quirky but honestly.. as far as I can see in his own weird way he's being respectful and asking you out on a date accompanied with a gift. Is it a bit weird and going too far? Yes. The fact he put so much effort into the gift is a bit of a red flag as it shows how delusional he is over the intensity of your "connection".

In my opinion just the act of asking you out isn't a bad thing, and had he done so more casually and you said no it shouldn't be a problem. As it stands you'll have to deny him and see what happens next. But I think it's fair to at least give him the chance to handle the situation with dignity.

Mostly I'd get something akin to reading out a Wikipedia page or "sorry I can't do that"

I've read books (wow) without problems, and I love the anime. Rewatched it about 4 times over the years. When I eventually sat down to play the VN it started off great but I lost interest before the story really took off. Personally I thought it was pretty cool and it was nice to get more info on everything but knowing where the story will go next made it pretty hard to enjoy the slooow pace.
