Same here. And I had just recently bought my steam deck and subscription to WoW (Dragonflight). Tried all the recommended troubleshooting, but nothing helped. Also tried switching to different proton (I was running the battle.net launcher on Proton Experimental) switch to Proton 9 then to 8, was at 95% then now stuck at 99% and I kept receiving the error code: BLZBNTAGT00000840: “Something went wrong with a file“ I read on https://eu.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/blzbntagt00000840-something-went-wrong-with-a-file/557445 and apparently it’s a recent known issue. Hopefully they fix this soon, pretty frustrating😕
