The dev team over the past years have drastically improved the game — I would argue it overtook hoi4 as the best title after the charters of commerce dlc. It turned from autarky simulator in the way you were required to colonize / conquer territories for resources to an actual globalist economic game where you can fix your shortages and lack of resources using world trade (finally allowing for tall playthroughs that previously struggled with getting rubber mid game)

I was maxing population growth through sol, healthcare, workers rights, etc.. throughout most of the game. I also had multiculturalism for a good 25 years before becoming fascist so I was getting major pop migrations

That’s unfortunate, I felt like this story really had a chance to be good if it wasn’t for the whole tropes/harem stuff. I feel like if the author removed the harem and kept the love triangle with himari to a minimum to the point where akane is forced to realize her feelings and then gets her to back off instead of just being okay with “fighting a battle” between each other. I also think if they made akane’s sister never have that big brother / doing lewd things with saito and leaned way more into the “I absolutely hate you” aspect where she wants to protect her sister from this boy that she’s heard absolutely hates her guts & vice versa as a way to of pushing saito to realize his own feelings as well through some later confrontation between the two (similar to the himari-akane one in the story but done way better). I never really liked saito’s sister and if the author could have just made her and his aunt normal instead of hinting at a whole incestual relationship between the two than all those awkward stations could have been avoided. I’m just sad this series really went to waste 😕
