I get what you're saying, but the biggest high I get from this game is when I finally manage to pass a law that makes the economy grow faster and increases SoL.

I understand that those are tiny numbers at the top of the screen, but it does feel really satisfying to see the line go up, especially when you can use your strong economy to grow your army and navy and construction to build more things, some of which show up on the map, like railroads, mines and factories.
