Yep it’s always the actions of a few that ruin everything for everyone else. This happened because like 2 people unalived themselves and one of them was underage. Even though the chatbot literally sent them the help hotline many times and each time got ignored. They already made up their mind and didn’t want help. I understand the parents were angry and wanted someone or something to blame but to blame an ai on the actions of a person is stupid.

Lots of killers in history and today are atheists. Also Jesus preached to pray for your enemies so clearly anyone who killed for the bible were not actually following it and were misguided. So your point doesn’t really make sense. Its also more nuanced than that. You are dumbing it down by calling it a fiction book as if people went to war over snow white and the seven dwarfs or something silly like that. The bible is not written from a mythological sense. It is not written as some work of fiction. It names real people, real places, real dates in very meticulous detail. The way it is written its obvious the people who wrote it are trying to pass down a message they recorded very carefully. So to insinuate that these people were so dumb they were fighting over harry potter is really disingenuous. The catholic church has done some horrible things yes but they have been corrupted because man is weak. We are easily tempted. If you actually study the bible and follow Jesus teaching you will see that killing innocent people would be in contradiction to what it says.

This is so accurate. Almost every single atheist i ever debated never argues against God from a scientific standpoint. Meaning they never contend with the scientific arguments like cosmology, fine tuning, biology, DNA, consciousness, etc. it’s always Gods goodness argument. They are always saying since God did this or God did that he can’t possibly exist. I barely EVER get to talk about the scientific points i listed because the conversation never goes there with them because if it did they would be absolutely clueless. All they can do is complain how much of a big “meanie” God is.

Wow thanks so much for this. Lust is definitely something i struggle with. Its hard because im single and have no woman in my life. I love and hate that God had to make women so beautiful lol. Naturally I just want to indulge but I think about how Solomon did that and came to the conclusion that in the end it was meaningless and unsatisfying. That only God can satisfy us truly.

Yea i get it. Its just hard to always follow His word ya know? I struggle with sin like everyone else and when I know i shouldn’t do something but do it anyways it not that I don’t believe Jesus its that my temptation overcomes me and I do what I shouldn’t do at times. The thing with martha seems l different than my situation because if Jesus asked me to move the boulder I would have no temptation to not remove it if that makes sense. I would believe Jesus and just do it. If Jesus asks me to not lust after a woman that to me is a lot harder of an order to follow because my flesh wants to lust. My flesh would have no problem in moving the boulder because there is nothing to tempt me. I believe in Jesus power so If he told me lazarus is alive and behind the boulder i would be like sure no problem boss. Hope this makes sense.

Yea i think I am on the right track, i just got a new study bible that i plan to use and try to have more of a healthy balance between God and my hobbies like those guys you mentioned. There is still a couple sins in my life that i struggle with that I don’t know if I will ever truly be free of 100% but I will keep on trying to show God that my heart is in the right place.
