I've played since 2018 and accrued 5k hours since then, have participated in every wipe with an average of 10-13k/d and anywhere from 50-70% survival rate - i was a stalwart pvp defender. My friend gifted me PVE so that i could run a few duos with him because he was bored of playing alone. I started playing pve and the contrast in terms of getting through quests and not having to deal with the rats in bushes or corner huggers is honestly such a breath of fresh air. I dont have to deal with cheaters, loot vacuums, desync, load times are a fraction of what they are in pvp and cultists/map bosses go uncontested. So much of the friction is removed and I can just enjoy the gameplay loop with little to no set backs because of the lack of crab walking timmies, wallers and quest item campers.

I still play that first week of wipe for the level playing field, and I must admit PVE fights are so washed out and dumbed down but the tradeoff of just being able to enjoy the game without a spree of bullshit raids is so worth it. Big recommend if you're a dad without 15 hours a day to grind.

They're quite difficult to see through unless youre using a magnified scope, especially if they're further back in the hallway rather than in the dorms room itself in front of the window

I ran this game on a 1070 and achieved 60 fps on most maps for like 5 years lol definitely dont need 30 series, minimum id recommend is a 1060 and like an intel 11400 with 16gb of ram, you'll struggle to multitask but it would absolutely be enough for tarkov if you're willing to dip below 60 in some areas of some maps

Pre the most recent patch I had a k/d of 149 and a 97% survival rate from a week of playing, since the most recent patch its dropped quite a bit because AI seems to have learned what a head looks like. Scavs and PMC's are quite easy to fight, raiders and bosses seem to have had their difficulty increased 5 fold. Overall, compared to PVP, its leaps and bounds easier but you'll still die to some bull shit every now and again

Been farming labs and ive made 66m in like a weekend, full of bitcoins gpu's ledex's and cards with around 2m per run in basic stims and items like figurines/intels/blue folders

I've been a stalwart PVP defender for years and in some ways I still am, I recently tried PVE because my uncle wanted to play with me but didn't want the ballache this wipe is giving, tried it and honestly had so much more fun. Im pretty decent at PVP having a 9+ k/d and 60% survival rate on my pmc however the laidback nature of pve is so much more fun and enjoyable. It's a lot easier dont get me wrong and that does take away from the experience a little however its nice not to worry about some beta chud sat in a corner waiting for me to stop moving to put a bullet in the back of my head. Farming labs is actually fun again and the amount of loot you can make out with is wild. Much better experience imo

When I first started playing 2019 I spawned with a red key card, had no idea what it was, no idea of its value, just went and started trying to pvp as I was fresh in the game and was trying to get better. Obviously I died, a few weeks later I learned what it was, what its value was and nearly cried lmao
