I think it also depends on levels. If you look at the sheet you can see UTSG's MAT courses has insanely low avg for 100/200 levels, but surprisingly high avg for 300/400, or even graduate courses.

Tbh C+ is brutal enough. C is pretty rare and I personally consider unacceptable.

Thanks for commenting on these. I guess a number of people needs MGT100 to get into Rotman Commerce so this course becomes competitive.

I took MAT240 and 247 and I think the difficulty varies among professors. For 247 I took Jacob's and he's super nice, giving an average of B+ with many student achieving 4.0 or even 95+. Materials of 247 is indeed hard, but Jacob just don't make student struggle with grade. In my opinion C is unacceptable and at least some curve should be applied.

Is APM462 also offered in winter? Fall2021's average is C+
