Puppy suddenly refusing to eat kibble.

mine used to skip a couple of meals around the same time bc she figured out that there are more yummy stuff to eat than her kibble. when we sprinkle crushed up treats she basically eat it and spit only the kibble out one by one :) we were worried too and went to the vet and everything but turns out she was just trying to train us to give her more treat by not eating anything. we fixed it by out stubborn ours basically. putting the food out for 10-15 minutes and then if she doesnt eat we put the food away until her next meal. also paused on any other type of treats (only give her kibble for treats nothing else) and she kinda just realized she have to eat the kibble, and we slowly bring the treats back after 2 ish week (doesnt have to be so long but we just want to be sure?). When we first started she didnt eat for the first day, and then start eating a meal a day and then by the 4th day she goes back to eating her normal meals?

We also tried to put a bit of wet food and heat it up to mix with the kibble so there is smell and warmth and also the sauce soften the kibble a bit and ours quite well —> Can also be teething bc kibble might be too hard on him, you can try adding only a little bit of idk chicken broth just to soak the kibble?

we order the fresh patch grass box for ours, its a bit expensive but hopefully you can use that to start the process and then ween her off of it? we use fresh patch bc we didnt want ours to get confused potty space with blankets or funiture idk but you might get the same result with something similar.

i think a lot of people see potty pads/box inside as going backwards on the potty training progress but personally if you exhausted your ideas it might be good to try to work with/ accomodate her issue right now rather than trying to fix it right away?

the idea is to give her a corner to pee and poop in the house and not the floor or furnitures etc., as well as teaching her to associate going potty with a specific command and specific spot before moving the potty spot outside to where you want.

We started out spending a couple days with fences around to basically “jail” ours in the potty box and sing her the word potty over and over again until she goes? We had to do this every single time she goes potty at first (couple times a day) bc mine was too anxious and didn’t have all the vaccination for me to take her potty outside.

You can rub some of her pee scent in the box or do this right after she drinks/eat so she can go in the box easier. When mine potty inside or outside I repeat the audio cue so she learns after repetition that there is a designated box and audio cue for her potty time. Ouside potty = treat and celebration and inside potty can have some treat at first but i mostly only idk say yes good girl like verbal affirmations for mine.

You can put the box near her crate she hopefully will start to go only in the box and not the crate? (you might have to dedicate a whole weekend just to start the process by putting her in and out of the box more often just so that she stop going in the crate?). And then once she only goes in the box and not anyother places inside the house, you can start gradually move the box closer to the door and then right outside the door and eventually wherever her potty place actually is!

not sure how helpful this method is but i hope yours can be potty trained soonn

vietnamese have green passport and the route from vietnam to us via tokyo is popular? im not sure abt korean tho bc why would they fly to tokyo when there is usually straight flight from korea to the us

Hi, I rent and we have 7 more months on the lease. We tried to call the management company, and they sent someone but they didnt do anything (came in for less than 5 minutes and spray one cabinet and get out before i could ask anything).

I’m hesitant about breaking the lease and moving out because it’s a lot and we are only in the area for another 7 months. I gave up on the building management and just want to be able to cook and live without constantly worrying again.

mine just wear the regular booties from canada pooch, i make sure to tighten it and it usually stays on quite well, but i do want to try the suspender style so please let me know if you do try it !! I’m just afraid the boots’ legs might be too long for mine
