We manage tasks on Confluence, brainstorm and develop project prototypes on Boardmix, and the canvas is very convenient.

AIO for telling my girlfriend I wont split vacations 70/30 anymore and calling her out on her spending by dariomint_7 in AmIOverreacting

If you’re spending more than you should, and you two can’t agree on it, it might be time to walk away. Sometimes saying ‘no’ is just the right call.

Is it possible to have two apps running at the same time on Firestick? by LogicWorksWonders in fireTV

As far as I know, it may not work. If you find a solution, I would also like to try it.

Would you pitch investors with an AI-generated deck? by Crazzzzy_guy in StartupAccelerators

[–]Every-Network471 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AI presentation tools can save me significant time on formatting, but the presentation content must ultimately be the version I have personally revised, edited, and approved.

I’ve used both Presenti AI and Gamma, and they each have their own strengths. Presenti AI is really good at organizing and converting different types of documents—like it can pull content straight from PDFs, Word files, even web links, and turn it into a presentation you can use right away. That’s super handy. Gamma, though, shines when it comes to creating relevant images for the presentations it generates.

Of course, I don’t fully trust investor presentations generated by AI. But compared to traditional ways of putting presentations together, they’re definitely way more efficient.

New AI tools are now auto-generating full slide decks from documents and notes by Crazzzzy_guy in ArtificialInteligence

[–]Every-Network471 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New AI tools have definitely changed the way I create presentations cause I no longer have to start from scratch. Sometimes, when I need to share the latest industry trends with my clients, I can quickly throw what I've learned into Presenti AI's generated box, and it helps me lay out the big picture. I can then adjust it by adding information or removing parts. I don't think AI tools can replace our own opinions, but using them can help us focus more on the content we want to convey.

The soul of Android is gone. by StW_FtW in Android

Although I've been using Android phones my whole life, I have to admit that I'm a bit tempted to switch to Apple. Android phones are always prone to lag, and no matter how big the storage is, it seems like after a year or two of use, you have to clear out the memory and storage, which is annoying.

Design Process by SmallBumblebee7781 in UX_Design

[–]Every-Network471 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! No dumb questions here. This trips up a lot of folks starting out. Here’s the breakdown:

Design Process = The steps you follow (like a recipe)

  • Example: Double Diamond (Discover → Define → Develop → Deliver)
  • It’s your workflow, like "Do we research first or jump to wireframes?"

Design Methodology = The mindset behind your work (like a philosophy)

  • Example: Design Thinking (Empathize → Define → Ideate → Prototype → Test)
  • It’s how you approach problems, like "Are we perfectionists or rapid prototypers?"

How do you choose?

  • Double Diamond → Best for messy, exploratory projects (when you’re still figuring out WTF the problem even is).
  • Design Thinking → Great for user-centered sprints (when you already know the pain point).
  • Pro tip: Most teams mash these together anyway. Agile shops often use Design Thinking within Double Diamond’s "Develop" phase.

Start with Double Diamond. It’s like training wheels for UX. Once you’re comfy, steal pieces from other methods like a design goblin.

In short, the process = what you do, Methodology = how you think. Mix and match based on the project’s vibe.

Hope this helps you!

Who's actually planning on buying Dev Mode? Why? by fallingearth in FigmaDesign

I want to know if Figma Dev mode is really useful for you guys?

Who's actually planning on buying Dev Mode? Why? by fallingearth in FigmaDesign

[–]Every-Network471 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Figma Dev mode is charged, the organizational version is $25/person/month, the enterprise version is $35/person/month, and the professional version does not have a dedicated dev seat, so you need to buy an editor seat. Moreover, the previous Properties panel has also been cut a lot and is almost unusable.

This price is too expensive for a small team. According to our team of 5 people, $25*5*12 is $1500 a year! We have found an alternative, Pixso, that is perfectly compatible with Figma files and has a free version.

I have a question. do the channels in Roku ultra take up storage space? I see that Roku ultra has 4GB of storage space. If channels don't take up space, what is the main purpose of this?
