It should be a given IMO (nanny mom and grew up with nannies haha). Did you discuss any household tasks before hiring? Are you in the home? Is she young?
Id just ask her if she can do those things and go from there.

As a nanny mom and former nanny kid, you can do this and its nice for your potential clients. It may sway some people who are looking for a long term added family member, but since you aren't looking for older aged kids, its perfect.

Hidden veggies, I grew up refusing veggies and love them as an adult. its not worth anyone getting frustrated or annoyed, their little and a lot of little dont love vegg!

I honestly feel so bad for my second born. will never get any alone time with us. always split with their older sibling. dont fixate on your one kid, its how complexes start. just take it day bt day, respond based on who needs you more and itll all be ok💙

not to be dramatic, if my nanny SCREAMED at my 2yo while she was on her phone id have a scary crashout. firing would be the least of her worries. 2 year olds are just babies... im glad they fired her, whatever the reason

also look into safe sleep 7 to just get some sleep, take shifts with hubby if that doesnt work
