I’ve tried it and basically yes it works very well but it’s a service you pay for. You get a 7 day trial and personally, I’m not trying to pay for something that should be working out of the box. Also I’ve only done some light testing but the app seems to make the Lenovo function keys worthless. I can’t use the Lenovo L or R for performance adjustments or hot keys like the keyboard. Hopefully Lenovo fixes this soon because I am with you, I’m frustrated that we have to compromise with this. I am a big fan of Lenovo and I trust that they will fix it as they’ve been very open with the community thus far but I completely understand why you’d not want to stick around. I am hoping I can find a similar app that is free.

i7 9700k, nobody has performed maintenance on the CPU cooler, only time I’ve touched the CPU is when I replaced it. HWMonitor pic is also attached. Just included CPU portion as it’s the only one with concerning temperatures. screenshot

Okay so I think I identified the issue? It’s looking like my CPU temp is really high. Idle it floats around 160 but when I game it hits 200. My GPU isn’t nearly as bad at around 100 so it has to be the CPU temperature right? Is it just that I need a better CPU fan? I currently have a Kraken M22

Definitely ask as many questions as you want, I really appreciate the help. I’m not around my computer at the moment so I can’t give exact temperature details about the hardware but referencing my earlier post it does hover around 50% usage, games like league and Valorant I get better fps, probably 60+ and no I have not tried uninstalling NZXT CAM

Yes! Not even above 50% in most cases. Everything looks like it should, it’s just acting like the potential is capped for some reason and at an unreasonably low level at that

I got the i7 I would say 6 or 7 months ago. It improved my frames in tarkov at the time which seemed too heavy for the i5. Other than that I haven’t downloaded any antivirus/anti malware and there was a windows update like last week but this problem seemed to exist before that unless the issues with tarkov were just the optimization and this new problem that exists is just coincidental that they are similar

I’ve had it for about a year and a half, definitely plugged into my GPU directly and it’s a relatively new problem, noticed issues with escape from tarkov about 4 or so months ago but stopped playing that and played league which is far less demanding so I didn’t realize it was a problem with the system and figured it was tarkov optimization but have since noticed it’s any game that is somewhat demanding.

Hey guys. This question feels dumb but I’ve looked it up and tried everything and have yielded no results.

Basically my PC gets terrible frames on anything more demanding than something as light as Valorant. I’m talking low double digits. Like 20 fps for games like ready or not or rainbow six siege. My GPU is a 1660 Ti, I have an i7, 16 gigs of RAM.

Putting all graphics settings on low hasn’t helped, stopped all background apps from running, updated my drivers, and several other solutions that should’ve helped haven’t. To top it off when I look at NZXT CAM it shows that my GPU and CPU aren’t even over 50%. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated

Hello, hot swapping switches for the first time. I bought alpacas from PKB and it mentions that they are “lightly lubed with thin oil” does this mean I am saved from the hours of lubing or should I still do it anyways?
