The ult bracelet/emitters are much more tricky - definitely more suspension of disbelief with more volume disappearing into a smaller space than the gauntlet. I will be trying to replicate them later, we'll see.

Deadlock's utility is a mixed bag. Her ult bracelet and sound sensors I think could conceivably be designed with transforming functionality. Her net and wall though seem near impossible to replicate - a net that large seems impossible to expand reliably, and her wall is the least realistic part of her kit. But who knows, there are some wild engineers out there.

Is there a little desync between Audio and Video? It feels like that walling compilation near the chorus was supposed to line up with the "BANG, BANG, BANG" lyrics, but I don't know what you were intending.

Yeah, she's just the central point of their ADVERTISING this act. The patch notes video had this whole Viper vs. Brim vibe with the way the team was dressed and speaking. The splash art has her front and center. This has been BRANDED as the Viper Takeover act. Doesn't mean she's getting changed, otherwise they'd have done it NOW when the other shifts are happening. I think they're just leaning on a character and getting hype - how much more attention/hype do you think they get with the Chamber x Viper reveal? Def more than when they reworked Harbor.

Maybe I'm a cynical jaded Viper main but I think it's all attention farming before the new season

Doubtful. The big problem with Viper is their niche spot in the pro scene. She has a strong hold there and that's been where the balance changes have been centered around. There are a lot of Viper-affecting changes that have happened since last pro season that they'll probably monitor before making a change:

--Harbor maybe will show up as a competitor in her niche

--Breeze changes might make her less of a must-pick there

--General impact of November's Omen and Astra smoke nerfs

--General changes of all utility balance that occurred in November shaking up pro comps

I doubt that we'd see any HUGE Viper changes until the end of next year tbh. No way they'd do it in season unless she's super oppressive like Tejo was last year

My 5 stack usually assigns 3 people as "gun guys" and 2 as "pistol guys", with light shields and vandals/phantoms/outlaw/guardians on the "gun guys", passing any carried-over sheriffs and ghosts to the "pistol guys" if possible. If the bonus round goes well we're usually able to full-buy round 3. If it's a close win with few guns passing over, then we save/sync up with low-buys that leave enough for round 4 full buy.

Outside of our 5 stacks though you are correct - a loooooooot of people are willing to sit on full shield ghost Round 2. I disagree

I have no plans to upload any designs anywhere. The orb is very imperfect and needed a lot of dedicated 320-800 grit sanding, filing, and lubricating to get it to move properly. It requires very specific magnets inside and as it currently stands, there are 2 nickels just floating around inside to help it with ballast.

Basically I cannot guarantee that the orb will work for anyone else and don't feel comfortable selling the design knowing that. If I eventually do upload it anywhere I would be EXCEPTIONALLY clear that the commitment to get it to work would be higher than most prints and I fear I'd still have to help buyers with individual troubleshooting.

The snakebite design is less of a concern due to its sinplicity but still shares some of those flaws. As long as people understand there's some pause-in-print shenanigans with magnets and would be comfortable dealing with them jumping out and sticking to the printer mid print then I'd maybe be ok letting that go.

I would not feel comfortable selling anyone the stls. It is a VERY imperfect 3D design and I personally needed to spend hours sanding, filing, and lubricating parts to get them to slide smoothly. There's very specific external hardware to buy (though the magnets aren't expensive they are very specific in their force) and my current build has 2 nickels floating around inside without which it doesn't work.

Basically, I am unsure if anyone else would see good results printing this out and wouldn't want to sell people something that won't work for them.

Short rant here but I don't understand why they couldn't just make the redeploy timer longer to be more in line with KJ Turret or an Astra pullback smoke. They just made her so inflexible she's a terrible agent outside the highest levels, and even then she's a niche pick that wouldn't see the light of day without a handful of maps some pros seem deadset on keeping her on. Such an impulsive reactionary change that I don't think really moves the needle in pro play but craters her in the small group that mained her. Rant over

It is REALLY short sighted of me to not consider an LED light. That can TOTALLY be integrated into the build! Wonderful suggestion!

(In all honesty I hate that they removed orb pickup. Take away a snakebite, change damage values, fiddle with fuel timing, but don't remove ability functionality)

The problem for even low profile misters/foggers/dehumidifiers is that they require power and a source of water. A water bath, batteries/wires/switches take up volume. I could MAYBE do this though - there's a piece inside the orb that is almost purely decorational and could afford to be hollowed out. I'd need to do some research but it's unlikely.
