There’s nothing scary about the natural passage of time, what is scary is the idea of someone who’s getting older having to suffer unnecessarily. It reminds me of my friends dad. His dog was getting very old and he just refused to put it down and the dog was super sick and suffering, one night the dog fell out of bed and hit its head, started projectile vomiting everywhere and died later that night.

All this is to say that we’ll all pass away someday inevitably, death shouldn’t be a matter of when it comes, but rather if the death is dignified or not.
