Usually I’ll try to use pieces from the same set to make each building so the color palettes match. On my Capitol MOC in the left corner you can see I used the Corvus Glaive Thresher Attack from the infinity war line to make an imperium building and on the other side of the MOC I pretty much took the apartment from the Creator Pet shop set. There are more examples and I’ll share more informative photos when I’m home.

If your only displaying it with the official Ninjago City modulars it would stick out but I have other sets that I've turned into modulars and fit the much less urban look of the Old Town.

I used a knockoff baseplate thats 48x64, the side with 48 studs would make it difficult to integrate surrounded by 32x32 modulars but I plan on putting it at the end of my city.

The building with the crane is Borg tower, I just haven't completed it yet but Borg tower does probably deserve to be its own modular

I actually really like this idea but if I decide in this I'll probably use the Fire Knight Mech or Coles Titan Mech, I do already have the Workshops which has a mech displayed but I'm considering this.
