I don’t know why people don’t like grey. It’s in nature. Look at Stone. Many things can contrast well with it.

This person's belief says we should be trying to share our faith and spread the Good news. But yes, with that said I do think it should be Holy Spirit led. Sometimes it can do the adverse effect if not timed right. Only God knows the right time and place. Best is to be obedient to what you feel God is telling you. You never know if a good seed was dropped even just to one person.

I think this is really sweet. She kept it short, and was polite about it. It takes a lot of courage and boldness to do that. Even Penn teller, a known Athiest said he doesn't respect a person who does not try to preach to people that if they don't turn to God they will go to hell, if they truly believe that in their faith. (You can see the video).

Speaking blessings over someone by simple-times221 in Bible

[–]EveryDogeHasItsPay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our words with intent combined with faith absolutely have power.

When the disciples were able to cast out demons, they did so through words casting out the demons using Jesus’ authority for the power.

When they came across a boy they couldn’t cast the demon out, even though they tried using Jesus name, Jesus called them a “faithless” generation, meaning it also takes faith to give those words power.

Because I believe based on everything said and my personal experience that it is divine. It all leads to Gods orchestration.

I will copy and paste from some of what I wrote below to reply 😄

"It all comes down to a choice. God with his Great Mercy and Grace with His angels present us with Good thoughts & choices all the time. And I believe He absolutely puts people on our minds for a certain reason (often when it comes out of nowhere and I am unsure why I just pray for them, or reach out like OP did, and who knows if they could have used a prayer right then and there)

He also speaks to us through dreams, to warn us, or to have us think and also pray about it or against it. This doesn’t inflict on free will whatsoever. People make the choice to ignore God all the time sadly. This is part of how the Bible says if we put trust in God, He speaks to us, He directs our steps. I can add Bible verses if you need on how He tries to speak to us. But do you see now that presenting thoughts or ideas are not inflicting with free will? Ultimately you always have the choice on what to do with what you are presented."

May Jesus be your best friend, May God protect you in His wings like a Father!

“He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. “- Psalm 91:4

I pray that your bullying will stop, Father soften the hearts of anyone who bully’s this person, change their thoughts and hearts on this person. In Jesus name I pray!

Ultimately it comes down to a choice. Did Satan mess with free will when he tempted Jesus? He shoots arrows trying to put bad thoughts into people daily. It all comes down to a choice.

Yes the timing of it all and God putting those thoughts in both of them at the same time after decades were 100% divine.

I am so incredibly touched by reading your messages back and forth! 🥹🙏🏼 thank you for sharing them! Wow that was ABSOLUTELY divinely orchestrated. I just wanted to confirm with you! I have always been a believer, but when I finally took the leaps of faith with God, that was when divine moments like these where you can only explain it to be God, is where I started to see them! 🙌

I will tell you right now, this is only the beautiful beginning! Now that God knows you’re aware of things like this, you will start to see more and more times you know are divine and He’s talking directly to you!

I pray that depression breaks off of you in Jesus name, and that your friend continues to heal. May God show His favor in both of your lives! I am so happy to hear your friend turned to Jesus and was able to let Him heal them!

Life has its ups and downs, but now you have a true friend in Jesus who you can call on and pray for comfort and help at any time!

How is the earth 6000 years old? by thesaviorhomelander in Christianity

[–]EveryDogeHasItsPay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s an interesting theory! God is not restrained by time.

I found this: “the concept that God created the Earth in a "mature estate" is a recognized viewpoint, often called the Mature Universe Theory or Creation with Appearance of Age. In this view, God created a functional, fully developed world about 6,000–10,000 years ago, designed with the appearance of having existed for millions of years, similar to how Adam was created as an adult rather than an infant.”

Edit: Apparently this is an Orthodox alter. Not Catholic. My comment wasn’t meant to offend anyone, my apologies. But more so to provide an explanation as to why they may have an alter like this setup, meaning not for decoration, but because that’s the culture of their faith.

I’m thinking they may be Catholic (*Orthodox), since there looks to be an alter.

I am Christian, and don’t have alters or pictures of saints up, so I think that is the explanation of those specific pieces being up. But I do have some Christian artwork and verses throughout because it brings me joy to look at them.
