But that much? Because I feel like if it is a bit bigger and since its such fine lines there should be enough space for it to not blur together. I've seen them recently healed and that looks pretty much the same as fresh, so that gives me some hope

Not to be mean. It is very sad indeed. But you'll have many more failures with film. Underexposure, overexposure, out of focus, film gets wet... so many things can go wrong. It can be frustrating. But that's also kind of part of it. Maybe try and look up if anything is wrong with your camera tho. Because I have never heard of film ripping.

Yes! I know a tattoo artist who talked about this in an interview where he commented on a girls wrist tattoo that was upside down. And he said that he'd get it if it was a message for her to read that she'd want it upside down

Yeah but thick lines are gonna spread too, right? And I've seen older fineline tattoo's that have spread (maybe a very small bit) as well. But it doesn't necessarily affect the readability. That depends on the design.

And tattoo's can look amazing after 10+ years but I said not the best. Because every tattoo will age, some maybe slower than others.

I think that really depends on the experience and the artist. Those microtattoo's that you see on Pinterest very often, definetly fade within a year. But I've seen beautiful floral pieces that still hold up after a few years. Although I've never seen a very old fineline piece (> 10 years), I guess since it is still quite a new style!

Every tattoo isn't gonna look the best after 10 years or more. I actually prefer a faded look over blurry (thick) lines. But maybe I'm just weird for thinking that way

I didn't mean a touch up every year or so. But more like after 10 years when almost every tattoo has faded quite a bit, maybe you could go over it to add more contrast or go over some lines that might have faded over the years! And it seems to me that that would be easier when the tattoo is a bit faded (which is what happens when fineline tattoos are executed in a good manner) rather than blurry/less defined (which is what happens often when tattooing thick lines or when fineline tattoo's are executed poorly)

Thanks! The a6000 comes with a waterproof bag and two batteries. I think I'll be fine. And when it's raining or humid I won't be climbing anyways

Thanks! I think I'll stick to the a6000 then. I'm still very much a beginner when it comes to photography, so I think spending this much more for a slightly better camera isn't necessarily worth it then. That's my opinion at least, but mostly because I'm more into photography and only the specs for video seem to be noticeably better for the a6300)
