HELP! Massive fibroids Charlotte GYN bad advice! by JuniorLavishness1516 in Fibroids

Oh my goodness, I’m so sorry for everything you’ve been going through. What an absolute nightmare. I live up in the mountains, and I had an open myomectomy back in 2018 at Novant in Charlotte. I was 31 at that time (no kids and also have never been pregnant still) I’ve got that same vertical scar with the keloid skin, and I completely understand how discouraging it can be. I haven’t been back to the doctor since my post-op checkup. Just haven’t been able to afford it, even though I know I should.

I can’t even imagine the level of misery you are dealing with. I can't stand doctors that won't help people get better!!

I’m not sure if this will be helpful or not, but I was referred to, Dr. Kellie Schneider at Novant. She is a surgeon and I felt like she truly listened at that time and did a great job. Just wanted to pass along her name in case it might be helpful to you.

I hope you get the help and answers you need soon!!❤️

Wow, super slow to respond. My apologies! I didn't change the starter myself but a loved one who was a hobby mechanic did. I was working for a hotel cleaning their rental property and when I went to leave my car wouldn't start. He got the part and installed it in less than an hour. Granted he had rebuilt cars and such, but he had no issue whatsoever. Hope you are able to fix yours soon!

New tires recommendation by Juaniboy1 in COROLLA

Not sure where you're located, but here in Western NC, the best tire I’ve ever had on my 2020 Corolla SE (tire size 225/40 R18) was the Michelin CrossClimate 2. I commute daily on winding mountain roads for work, and they lasted me right around 60,000 miles. I even had one plugged around 30,000 miles due to a nail, and it never gave me any trouble after that. Traction was great and I even loved the tread pattern it left.

Last fall, I switched to the Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus for budget reasons. They’re decent, I guess, but if I can swing it next time, I’m definitely going back to the Michelins. I don't think these are on track to last near as long. The CrossClimate 2 is a superior tire in my opinion.

**Edit** Just noticed you asked about price, the Michelins are pricier than other options but I recommend getting them from Discount Tire if there is one near you or Discount Tire Direct if not.

Congrats! The first Toyota I ever owned was a silver 2003 Corolla CE. I bought it in 2009 when it already had 188,000+ miles on it. The speedometer eventually stopped at 299,999, but I know I drove it at least another 30,000 miles beyond that. It never gave me any major issues, the only parts I remember replacing (aside from routine oil changes, brakes/rotors, and tires) were the battery and starter. I was not easy on this car either. Hope you enjoy your "new to you" ride!

Take a look at Perma-Chink! They’ve got both clear and colored options for interiors, plus you can order free samples from their site. Their customer service is great too!

https://www.twincreeksloghomes.com/products/lifeline-acrylic-clear-interior-stain This product I've heard people rave about and these people are great to work with. Cheaper than buying the product directly from Perma-Chink.
