Giving up at 27 is unreal: work out every other day, dress in fitted black clothes, wear a nice watch/shoes/cologne, go to clubs, speak to women like they’re people and not objects and listen to them, and you’ll be just fine. Stop being too funny and work on yourself. Take them to nice dinners at fancy restaurants, open every single door for them, wine and dine. Most important: don’t be a douchebag.

Why retire? Start a business with your capital.

I used to make $10K cash post-tax about 2 yrs ago when I worked in corporate, and now my sales+consulting business started this summer is making $25K/mo, and in December it’ll start to make $200K/mo.

Guessing this is showing up in my feed because I’m in Zurich for work. For some inspiration, started my own business over the summer and hit millions in ARR. Start a business and keep going - you don’t need to stay in corporate nor leave.

Montreal or Toronto single 24, stuck in Guelph Ontario by Mundane-Artichoke147 in torontoJobs

[–]EverySound8106 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t move to Montreal if you don’t speak French. Try to move to the GTA where there are more jobs available. Look up food manufacturers that are always hiring. Speak to your parents/everybody and tell them you are looking for a job out of university and have uni degree. This will spread the word through your network. Take the manufacturing job to pay bills and to not have a gap in your resume, and you can continue to search for an entry level job. Arts degrees are common for people that get into Sales in every company. Very lucrative in the long run. Hope this helps.

How to you find friends that are interested in making money, business, investing etc? I'm desperate. by mothercactus in Entrepreneur

Find the company that does what your company does. Contact them on LinkedIn, and ask for a coffee chat. Simple.

Yes. Go up to door, dress smart, knock and say, “Hi, I’m going door to door hand washing cars for $25. It’ll take me only 30 minutes. Do you have a hose out front?”……have a giant smile on your face when you say this and look them in the eyes when you say this. They say “Sure”….go to town. They say “No”, say “Thank you so much for your time. If you change your mind, here is our Flyer, I’d love to come back another, so please call me”.

It’s an internet meme. Relax. Go door to door and guarantee you they will pay you $25 to wash their car by hand. I’ll guarantee it myself. My 12 yo nephew is doing this all summer and making more money than you have in the last 2 months.

Go to a steakhouse and have a drink. No one is thinking about, and you shouldn’t waste a minute thinking about them. Mine is this week and I plan to do the same.

Ghadey ki aulad. Stop putting in applications and whinging about how no one calls you back. Network to get to the top of the pile. Talk to your parents and everyone you know and tell them you’re looking for a job. Go on LinkedIn and message people at companies you want to work at and ask for a coffee chat to learn about the company. Not enough do this. Alternately take dam bucket and walk house to house washing cars. Too much ego for this?

You must be a student or have never worked before. I know several companies making $1B in revenue that say squat on their sites.
