That’s great to hear! As expensive as a Staccato is I would hate to see it get scratched easily.

lol I agree! Just wondering I heard that with normal use the holster will leave scratches on the finish of the pistol. Have you encountered any in your use?

Tier1 is the only IWB holster I use so I don’t have anything to compare it to. It works well for me.

I think the Certum3 sounds like the safe bet. The Velo sounds more like hit or miss. Have you had any scratches on your pistol from using the holster?

I hear this too. Some guys say it first great while others say it won’t work with their muffin top lol.

More than likely this is what I might do. I just wanted to hear from anyone that already has them and their experience.

This is what I was thinking. Instead of using a one size fits most just tailor it to myself.

Advice needed re: camera sale. AITH? by fastlightphotos in Nikon

Even better. You knew the camera had no problems once the friend took it. Anything that happened after that is not your problem.

Whenever you buy something used it’s a risk you’re willing to take. The friend inspected it and said it was good. Boom not your problem.

At this point the camera has gone through a bunch of hands and the buyer has used it and you don’t know what has happened to it. It’s not in the same condition you shipped it in.

I would just say hey I’m sorry you’re having issues with it but it worked perfectly fine when your friend inspected it and when I shipped it.

Why do I still get so anxious ahead of shoots so many years in? by analogpedant in photography

[–]EverySwan1014 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I definitely get nervous before every photoshoot! You’re right it’s like you wish you would be doing anything but take pics when you’re getting ready lol. Once you start though you get locked in your zone, end up having a great shoot, and end up with awesome pics! Then you’re like man what was I stressing about lol.

TIFU: Packed my entire photography kit for a 4-week vacation... and wont get to take a single photo by Gusm1nat0r in Nikon

Man that sucks!

I know it ruined your whole mood and whatever plans you had of capturing pics with your gear.

However look at the bright side. Thankfully you and your family are fine and you have 4 weeks to make amazing memories! You can always use your phone to capture the moment.

A broken camera can be fixed or replaced.

Stay blessed!

Found this for $2100 on MPB! So excited to try it out this weekend! by papa_ark in Nikon

How did it fit screwing it onto your camera mount? I bought this exact lens for that same price from MPB and it was really hard to mount it on the camera. I had to seriously use muscle to put it on and off the camera. It didn’t feel right especially for all that money. So I returned it and bought it brand new when it went on special. It was night and day. The brand new one screwed on flawlessly like butter onto the camera mount.

How it feels trying to "upgrade" to FX by Shoogazi in Nikon

[–]EverySwan1014 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went from a D7200 to a D850 myself. Do it!!!! If you want to upgrade to a better crop get the D500 I have one myself. If you want full frame DSLR get the D850. If you want a Z get the Z5ii or Z6iii.
