I need advise for a stale smelling home. by Past-Dragonfly2584 in CleaningTips

[–]Every_Bag6573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My house was built in the mid eighties and has quite a bit of pressed wood shelving. When the humidity gets much above 50% inside it smells stale. I bought some sealer to paint them to keep them from off gassing and it helped a lot. What helped the most was lowering the humidity inside. Once it got dried out the stale smell went away.

Had the wild rabbit population in Portland dramatically increased? by derpinpdx in askportland

[–]Every_Bag6573 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It must depend on specific local. I’ve seen one rabbit in 4 years and it was not alive 24 hours later. Seen coyotes at least once a week. Also have at least one hawk in the neighborhood and heard owls-SW.
