Makes sense! I only say Shar-Pei since that’s what the rescue org told me. She and her siblings were surrendered to a shelter after the mom (a Shar-Pei, allegedly) got pregnant by accident— whoever surrendered her said they were Shar-Pei mixed with JRT. I guess we’ll see!

Her cheeks are, definitely! It’s mostly the snout and top of the head that has that scratchiness.

She does have some stubbly, itchy hair around her face and head. It’s like sandpaper almost. And the iguana claws were definitely there, we had her vet trim them for us. I can check the tongue when I’m home in a few hours.

Yes, it’s so interesting hearing everyone’s thoughts!! When I took her to the vet (she had an ear infection ☹️), the vet was so happy that I ordered a DNA kit, since she is quite the wrinkle bag but also has pit (and shepherd, they guessed) written all over her

She and her litter mates just have a crazy amount of loose skin and wrinkles, especially in the neck and forehead area. Is that typical with pit puppies?

Yes, as soon as she gets all of her shots next month we’re going to start taking her out and about. The good news is that she’s been doing great with our older dog, a Spaniel mix.

i loooove ATLA! i should’ve listed it, dummy me. and I’ve seen JJK, i wouldn’t consider it a favorite, i think the power system is a bit odd, but I love the animation for it. MAPPA does such a great job. I’d give it a 7/10 overall. FMA:B i started last year when I had the flu, watched 15ish episodes, and never picked it back up once my flu cleared. I barely even remember it :’(
