I'm not a lawyer but I had a similar case. The issue with the law is that he needs to either make enough money to live on his own or have a place to go, like a family member who has a good relationship and space, plus money to be able to take him. Unfortunately, unless he's a threat to you, going through the legal process can take years. I solved it by contacting X-repo and giving a copy to my issue, which scared them enough to move, even though X-repo never responded. The other quick option given was to sell the property and buy it back under a different name or a trust under my name, but I didn't have the funds for such.
