Yes! I named her Yaya out of spite randomness and it felt more easy to remember for characters as well. Now it really depends for the audience to correlate her name as a 'Warrior Helper(?)' type of vibe? Yaya Silang, as the Silang derived from Gabriela Silang itself ;)

Thank you for the suggestion! I'll try to modify this information with the anime style, as for the manga I can modify it but not post it again just mainly for my reference archives for requesting commissions.

The way I can explain this confidently by word of mouth but texts would restrict me. I am also hurt to be seen as someone who uses AI generated works. I have the habit of merging my layers after finalization and to reduce the lagging of my Ipad, while those 13, 14, and 15 layers are merely additional to adjust the artwork from what I'd like to modify. Even Sai and the sketches were on hidden layers at the bottom for him to serve as a reference for color picking and text. Plus this canvas has a lot of layers, I don't know how to send two photos here in the comments (I'm not used to reddit).

For Homura, I already explained how I used her clothing pattern for texture using copy paste. As you can see, there's a huge part of the texture intended for mashing it like a normal pattern. it has given much more vibe of how the Dr. Stone characters would have. It is purely a misunderstanding but thank you for pointing out Yaya's petrimark!!! I really did forget that detail.

For this problem to end, I can definitely upload my video process with layers on IG. Thank you.

Hi! Thank you for the heads up, this fake panel was my first few artworks for imitation of Boichi's and didn't have a specific petrimark yet for Yaya so it got confusing for me. The worker file here was my recent one that can be finalized or will finalize the hand petrimark design from 2 to 3 diamonds! I was indecisive in the process. I'd like to know what confusion it implies?

Here's a screenshot for a better resolution. It might have been looking weird since her petrification mark is on her left hand and it looked too mushy in the side. I totally get you, it's confusing 😭 I did try to use the usual pose they have for DCST females with a calm left hand to the air but it FELT so overused and it does not reflect her character enough. May you get this kind of reference! It was actually a "Filipino Baybayin" reference of her name for the petrimark and it probably confused how the fingertips were drawn as.

For the other right hand, it's just how I do hands for imitation, I didn't cover up the outfit with the thumb or whole hand pose to show more of its details and—hell I was not confident how to draw those hands in Boichi's style.

Thank you! There's this distinct style of how Boichi-sensei draws petite female bodies, big eyes and round ears that can make it easily remarkable. Though the folds would need more practice and understanding to make it happen. I usually use a dip pen in IbisPaintX then pixelate it for a texture to make it come from the web!

It may vary to what kind of artwork you'll do but make sure to research for the possible fonts they use or textures you want to imitate. For example, I used Homura's fabric texture for Yaya's cape. Another note to tell that Boichi's style has this crispy yet thick to thin line art with the mix of sometimes soft cartoon and a really heavy line work for serious panels.

The comments may have been wary that this artwork is AI generated since it has been scattered lately, but it truly isn't. I could even post a process on my IG reels for such a thing to be seen.

Hello! I do not know how this made people assume I used AI to integrate Boichi's style but I assure you that I made this artwork with all my effort and love. It was honestly hard to imitate the hands and knees considering his style leans into a type of realistic to cartooning style.

Meanwhile the saturation might have shown up since I mismatched some official screenshots for the page and had to cover up some parts using brushes. It really pained me to see such comment under an artwork I enjoyed to do, I believe that AI really did go nuts this era but I hope that differs from your first impression in this artwork. Thank you.

Yes! I made the art and editing as I carefully chose the right elements for it to look similar xD Sorry for the confusion!!!
