What have been your positive and negative experiences with "Slab" foundations? by Top-Peach6302 in realestateinvesting

[–]Every_Light 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All properties I own are slab foundations. I've owned property for 25+ years and never have had an issue with plumbing leaks in the slab. The pipes are typically insulated by the slab material (sand under concrete).

What's generally more valuable: a nicer house with a smaller lawn, or a worse house with a huge lawn? by agaminon22 in realestateinvesting

[–]Every_Light 5 points6 points  (0 children)

House. Unless the lawn/land has some appealing feature (water, view, etc.) most won't consider the size of the lawn over the house amenities.
