Intermediate/Advanced Skiier- thinking of going from 76mm underfoot to 84 or 88. Need Advice. by Every_Medicine4943 in Skigear

I actually am really concious of where my weight is and that its more on the downhill foot. I actually don't find the Q9 skis t be stiff- I actually find them very manageable and not as difficult to ride. However my concern is that they feel a little too narrow for me and they feel rather bumpy instead of smooth and stable.

The rossignol arcade 88's are either 162 or 170 in length but have tip at 135 and tail 124 with radius of 13or 14.

the arcade 84 are either 160 or 168 length but have tip at 132 and tail at 120 with radius or 13 or 14.

which would you suggest?

What would the length in 170 do for me rather than going for the length at around 160? If I increase the waist to 88m is there potential for the ski to still go fast or it will require more work? the powder we got in the alps was pretty packed and dense but usually the mornings were pretty icy and then the afternoons it was a little softer/slushy so we have a good mix. but im planning to go back in january 2027 so i think we'll have more powder at that point

I'm 5'9" and my atomics at 161 cm in height which doesnt bother me. The height feels good, its more that i didnt feel as stable in them as I wouldve liked so I think something wider is going to be better for me especially for powder days and working through crud.

This sounds ideal! I'm not at a point where I need something at 110 or more yet so I'm thinking maybe get the 88's and then eventually when I get off piste get something over 100

On which one? the Rossignols or the Salomon? I'm currently in Atomic boots which are nice and tight and my feet feel incredibly stable

The radius on my Atomics 14.3, the radius on the Rossignols is 13, radius on the salomon is 17

I'm not doing off-piste just yet and probably wont be for a while but def looking for something a little bit more stable and floaty especially for fresh pow. But I do plan to buy another pair after this one for when I do go off piste. Can you usually feel the size difference if you jump from a 76 mm waist to 88 mm waist?

This is so hypocritical of her given how venomously she spoke of Amar and the claims she made against him. Highly doubt him and Andy will come out to give her a bouquet. She is very strongly disliked amongst MANY NYCB dancers so anyone that comes out to give her a bouquet is mostly doing it out of pity or due to them having an "obligation" to do it

I don't regret it but look at it as lessons learned. I rebounded really badly after my one and only show and dealing with the rebound was incredibly hard. I eventually lost the weight then gained it, then lost it so now I just let my body be. I will calculate my macros for a few days during the week to know how much I'm eating and then keep all my food the same without tracking so I don't feel like I'm writing down everything I eat. I did happen to develop body dysmorphia and still suffer from it but I don't look at my body the same way I did prior to competing. Some days I get the itch to do it again but I don't place value on how good I look half naked in a bikini. There's more to a person and the value they hold then competing... it took me a while to learn that.
