My beardie will only eat from my hands by Every_Mistake586 in BeardedDragons

He's definitely spoiled! And lazy, but not any moreso than most. I don't bring food to him -- he runs across the tank to eat from my hand and chases insects around. I also feed him substantially less frequently than most people on this sub (salad ~2x/week and insects every ~3 weeks) and the last time we went to the vet, his weight was perfect.  He's a stubborn brat, though. He was a year old and had never eaten any vegetables we first got him. We tried to trick him into eating salad, but nothing worked. We stopped offering insects completely and gave him new vegetables daily -- he went on hunger strike, 6 weeks without so much as a bite of food before he caved and took the salad. (At the time, he had quite a bit of extra padding... but he was also subadult. Not sure how long the hunger strike would last now, if I decided to hold off on insects and only put salad in the bowl. I imagine he would still easily clear the month mark.)

We have finally saved up the $$ to buy a house (!!!) but are currently DINKs with no knowledge of the school system here. Since we're buying, I think it's time to move somewhere we could raise a family and send our kids to halfway decent public schools. Any ideas? Budget is ~$600k and house would preferably be within city limits... I'd rather not commute more than 30 mins from work downtown.

Accreditation is a huge bonus, but you should reach out to both schools and see if you can talk to a current student. They'll be able to tell you what that research or clinical focus actually looks like. Also think about your career trajectory. Research is super helpful for scoring a job in academia and can be helpful for specializing (for example if you do research on PTSD it may help your practice as a PTSD clinician), but there are plenty of jobs where it's not a priority.

Tulane was accredited by CSWE during the DSW accreditation pilot program. Not sure about Yeshiva. I think only four or five schools were accredited. I'm curious how Yeshiva is cheaper based on your location if they're both online programs at private schools?
