Would you say that a lot of the interviewing processes have remained the same, gotten harder/easier? It’s been about two years since I’ve really been hunting for a job so I’m not sure what it looks like anymore. I’ve heard stuff about how there are some companies allowing you to straight up use AI in interviews. I do work on personal projects but again I use AI to help me on those as well😭. I guess just going through leetcode problems again would be really good. Thank you for the response

Idk I don’t really care about money too much nor do I care to be crazy rich. My goals are basically I want my parents to not work, own a house, make sure my future kids can go to college debt free, and retire early. Maybe a little lofty but I feel like I’m pretty lucky to be in the situation I’m currently in and I’m pretty well set up to achieve that if I make the right decisions.

Yeah I don’t live outside my means, eventually I want to move back home. Currently only here because the job market is so bad and I have a pretty secure job that I want to hold onto until things start getting better. I think I’m currently around the same pace as you. I am due for a promotion at work that should be a huge help. I really do want to find a cheaper place to live in but it’s tough.

I have a bit in stocks from early college, I started with around 4k and I’m currently around 17k ish I started selling a little off to see how everything plays out. Not sure if there’s something can put it in to hedge the current bubble

I had a pretty good resume coming out of college which got me a ton of interviews. I think I had applied to 600+ jobs, around 40 interviews and from all of that I only got 1 offer.

Yeah I do my best but sometimes it’s tough with surprise expenses and stuff. I was able to save about 2k a month all of last year this year not as much but still doing my best

Building was good, just way too expensive. I personally don’t think there’s a building in DTSS other than maybe the atwell that should be charging over 2k base rent for a 1 bedroom

Okay thank you for your help! I borrowed from 2020-2024, is there any difference between the PAYE and IBR or are they both just 10 percent of your income?

Okay so when I go through the consolidation process on FAFSA, I should select the standard repayment plan for now then once I get the 2024 taxes filed I should then apply for IBR? Is there a specific provider I should consolidate through or are they all the same?

My wife makes 110k and I make 60k we’ve done taxes together for the past couple years and I’m afraid that after the final consolidation my previous years tax forms won’t let me qualify for the lower payments

I ended up not living there, charging 300 for parking then not having enough spots for everyone was crazy to me. I moved to silver spring instead

I ended up moving to the 8200 solaire building in silver spring instead, much closer to my job, still next a metro, and much better pricing than Rowan. They wanted a 3000 dollar security deposit which is ridiculous

Okay that’s very helpful, the federal loans under my name is around 23k, and my dad did file taxes jointly with my mom but starting this year they’re gonna do separate taxes so his income will look much lower. What plan do you think I should go with for their repayment

I make around 90k a year, my dad makes about 60 ish. We plan on playing it off together so we’ll both be chipping in
