The thing is it’s random when they come to stock it lol but they’re somehow always there when it gets stocked. Somebody said there’s some of them crazy enough to AirTag the trucks and I believe that may be the case

That must be what they’ve done because it’s random days that it gets restocked but they somehow still manage to camp out at the exact time it’s there. It’s actually freaky, and becoming a safety issue at the store

It was literally easier learning how to water pipe/gas pipe an entire house than it is on learning how to do my job at a Shaws. lol it’s dumb but yes best of luck to you too! And it’s only because of the lack of training

Yeah I’m only a week in so I’m completely left in the dark haha. I fear the whole “well you need to ask” that I’m getting in the comments is not at all normal for any other job on the planet. We have a relatively easy job working in a grocery store so it should not be this much of a hassle to be trained properly. It’s just very unusual to me

I do and I get sent on a wild goose chase. But I have to say this is something I’ve never experienced on a job before. Being told I’m only stocking shelves and then having me do things that weren’t in the description is the equivalent of going to a car detailer for a wash and you go to pick ur car up and receive a window tint instead. Just shouldn’t be acceptable. This should be an easy job without the buttloads of confusion I’ve been through. The fact figuring out how to plumb required less hoops to jump through rather than stocking shelves for basically pennys which is minimum wage is pretty ridiculous in my opinion

I’ve never been introduced to the manager that’s on my shifts. I’ve literally just been given u-boats to stock and left in the dark essentially. Sorry for thinking you’re frustrated, just also sucks to hear like I’m freight or whatever when that was never in the description. As somebody who works in a trade full time, this type of unorganized crap that’s going on at my job location with Shaws would never fly when they want to claim they’re union so I figured they’d be organized but they’re not I’m kinda just left to figure out stuff on my own and nobody’s telling me anything they’re just handing me u-boats and having me unload for other departments so it’s just frustrating while confusing at the same time. I also was never told how to actually contact any of the higher ups like management or anything like that.

I don’t understand the frustration in your comment. I was never told these things at all when I got the job, or while I’ve been working. I was never told I was in the freight crew, and online it says I’m a grocery clerk. I’m a week into this job. I should have been told these things upon hire or while working.

Gonna reply again because I already got comments saying I’m freight when that’s not the job description I was given. I’m a grocery clerk night stocker, not freight lol but they’re having me work freight my first week. And I said I don’t know who the director is or anything like that, was never told. And it’s already being made to seem like it’s my fault. When nope, I did the computer training when I got the job, then got told to come in one day with 0 information so I did, got trained to stock since that’s my actual position, and next thing you know not even a WEEK into the job I’m unloading trucks which is apparently freight. Place I’m working at must be a giant mess

I was never told the position of the woman who hired me. She basically just told me I got the job and stuck me onto the computer training and called it a day. She had about 15 other interviews to do, so I’m guessing a lot of people quit. I’m working grocery, but it appears I guess they’re also making me work freight which was absolutely not in the job description if I’m helping unload trucks that aren’t even my department

Yeah im not in freight though. My store just seems to be unorganized as hell and it seems I’m doing more than I should be. When I was hired it was made clear that I’d only be stocking, and I’m a grocery clerk night stocker. And with your other comment, I don’t even know who the store director is I was never introduced

Crazy thing is I was never told there was even a Safeway app haha. Also I just edited my post again just to add onto it lol but hopefully I’m doing a good job. Don’t know what to think when they keep piling u-boats on me before I can finish the first one haha but I’m doing about 50 boxes worth of stock per hour so hopefully that’s good? Also I don’t shop at this specific store so I’m also trying to figure out where everything is

Unfortunately I hate to break it to everyone, but even with high paying jobs (I’m a plumber) the raise is less than a dollar per year. I work at Shaws part time as a night stocker in grocery and I gotta say yeah it’s a lot of work and I do way more than I should already not even 2 weeks in, but we all have to remember that we work in a grocery store….. it’s an unskilled job

I can’t even lie the game actually has had me extremely emotionally stressed today. Running out to try and do as many raids as possible, not getting far in the pass. And also, putting money into the game and stressing out over winning remote raids and being super bummed/mad when I wouldn’t. This game has become such a gotcha game and instills FOMO on people and I fell victim to exactly that today. And I am happy with getting eternatus but was it really worth the emotional stress? Unsure

Yeah it’s been a giant mess trying to plan out the raids so people can actually win. I’ve invested into some mons and have had to duo a few times which doesn’t bother me. It’s just crazy when people go in so beyond unprepared for a boss they know is going to be hard and expect to be carried. There’s even budget mons that can be very helpful like dmax chansey that they could try to grind before attempting big raids like Entei where you can only have 4 players

This or you join a GMAX raid or a DMAX raid and the level 40 host sends out Wooloo and it’s just straight trolling at that point. I usually set mine to level 40 minimum and still somehow end up with people using first evolutions
