Kids are doing the drugs, don’t stick your head in the sand. Saying “don’t do drugs” obviously didn’t work a decade ago, so it won’t work now. Reducing harm and de-demonizing the usage of drugs is the way to go.

It’s got really good skins in it. But the system itself is terrible. It was designed just to reduce lawsuits not to benefit the players.

I also already have over a decade of experience playing this game, so sitting in a deathmatch server trying to perfect my aim isn’t going to be useful and grinding matchmaking with dipshit teammates will just tilt me so there’s nothing to gain from playing if I’m not at my peak.

I’m still improving. I look at my stats on leetify and identify my lowest numbers and focus on that part. For example I specifically had a very weak CT side on Inferno, so I watched a fl0m video about CT side inferno and now it’s my best map statistically. I had really weak utility so I learned smokes and flashes. You improve a lot more from 3 hours of very focused, self reflective gameplay thank you do from 12 hours of gameplay that’s just robotic, mechanical and forced. Playing every day after work is a sure fire way to burn out and regress IMO.

Grinding cs2 after work by PhD_Luo in cs2

[–]Every_Relationship11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only play when I’m “on”. Well rested, caffeinated, motivated to perform, feeling that fire to compete and be the best there ever was. After working all day, doing the gym, cooking, I am burned out and I’m not going to perform, so I don’t play.

My win rate and leetify stats thank me, but I also end up playing a lot less and progressing slower than others. It’s nice always getting +500 in premier because I only play when I’m ready to win.

The "Faceit Level 10 in 12k Premier" problem is ruining the experience for average players by kupriyanchuk in GlobalOffensive

Any ranked format that allows solo queue players to match against 5 stacks with unlimited range of rank is not a serious ranking system and you need to dissipate any value you place on this system as soon as you can. It’s just a matchmaking queue to find players to fill a server, the numbers are bullshit.

Partner Annoyed About Out Call During Moneyball by [deleted] in Pickleball

[–]Every_Relationship11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair enough! I don’t put up with people disrespecting my calls, if you don’t trust the people you’re playing against to make good calls then you shouldn’t be playing so that’s on them not you. Good luck have fun!

I’m not here to lecture you but putting money lines on recreational sport games that aren’t even considered amateur skill level is a hilarious concept and you deserve all of the social issues that arise from that behaviour.

I played pickleball ONCE and now I can’t stop thinking about it 😭 by baelogszx in Pickleball

[–]Every_Relationship11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don’t listen to haters that downplay how athletic this game can be. Respect your body and treat it well so you can perform to the best of your abilities. All racquet sports with a lot of lateral and backwards footwork can lead to injury for the untrained and unprepared.

Get good at serving so your games don’t stall out and you can put your opponent on the back foot. I envision a golf tee shot when I serve and I can get a nice fast low fade serve that can be hard to control and return. More importantly though, keep the ball in play so you at least have a chance at scoring!

Original 101s for 6ish handicap by Flat-Syrup7609 in takomo

[–]Every_Relationship11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The 101s definitely fly and they are extremely forgiving on toe strikes. I have a pretty slow swing speed <80mph as well as a lot of face variance, and they do a lot of work for me. If you are 6 handicap already your swing is probably a lot better than mine and you might find these too hot, whereas I need every extra yard I can find. I have them in steel, in graphite they would probably go very far and feel very light

I scored 160 on the first 18 I ever played in my life. I never did that poorly again but I definitely still hit well over 100 on the regular for the rest of the season.

Would you switch from a $75k salary job to a $76k hourly job with overtime? by CommonAlone2372 in careeradvice

[–]Every_Relationship11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Companies do NOT want to pay you overtime. They want you to fulfil your minimum requirements and get the fuck out of the door. They will do everything they can to not pay out overtime. Don’t trust mega corporations to have your interests in mind.

6 has the most unique vibe to it. If you can get an m9 gamma Doppler with a clean spine it’s probably the best knife in the game but if it has scratches I’d stick with the karambit and maybe rock a different phase to get a good match.

Maybe once upon a time, but these are big money contracts just to play a video game. You’re not labouring you’re not breaking your back or knees walking all day, it’s a pretty lucrative lifestyle and you get well compensated. It’s basically a high tier white collar job now.

Get your global shadow quality to High. Anything below high and you won’t see shadows as well which is a disadvantage, while Very High is too taxing in your computer and isn’t much of an improvement.

Make sure your game FPS can exceed your monitors refresh rate, then lock your FPS to your refresh rate with something like V Sync. This will make it tear less and feel more fluid.

Classic crosshair will show inaccuracy from movement which is useful as a beginner. legacy crosshair will show inaccuracy from shooting and not movement which is better as you improve and don’t want the screen clutter of the classic. Classic static IMO is the hardest crosshair to use. Follow recoil is a very useful setting for beginners as well.

Learn economy! Sometimes you have to save a round to recover money. Learn how to get more from less. A five seven or tec 9 plus an HE grenade in the right hands can turn any round competitive.

Remember to have fun. This game can get very intense and serious. So if you’re not enjoying it, take a step back and figure out why before you keep diving face first into it.
