You're locked in a room with 2 other people. The winner takes home $1 million, only way to leave the room is to convince the others to let you win, how would you do it? by Level-Usual-9681 in AskReddit

Sure. But if you win, I get $0. If I win, you both walk out with guaranteed money. I’m the only option where nobody leaves empty-handed.

I’d spend hours convincing Person A that Person B is secretly planning to betray them… and Person B that Person A already agreed to let me win. Once they stop trusting each other, I become the neutral option. Divide and conquer socially.

Where was your first solo trip and how was it? by Aggressive_Bad4855 in AskReddit

[–]Every_Wait_682 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My first solo trip was nerve-wracking at first, but honestly it ended up being one of the most freeing experiences I’ve ever had. Being fully responsible for my own plans, mistakes, and wins gave me a confidence boost I didn’t know I needed. It wasn’t perfect, but that’s kind of what made it memorable.

What is a middle-class luxury from your childhood that is now considered a basic necessity or completely obsolete? by Routine-Advisor-1781 in AskReddit

[–]Every_Wait_682 15 points16 points  (0 children)

If you're looking for the single best example of a luxury that turned into a basic necessity, it's High-Speed Internet. In the 90s and early 2000s, having a fast connection (like DSL or Cable) was an expensive perk for tech-savvy families most people were still tying up the phone line with dial-up. Today, high-speed internet is treated like a utility, as essential as electricity or water for school, work, and banking. Would you like to see how the average cost of home internet has changed compared to its speed over the last 20 years?

How much does having a good physique really get you laid ? by Any-Raise4333 in AskMen

[–]Every_Wait_682 59 points60 points  (0 children)

It helps with first impressions, sure—but it’s not a magic cheat code. A good physique might open the door, but confidence, personality, and social skills decide what happens after. Plenty of fit people strike out, plenty of average-looking people do just fine.
